The BEST WW2 Game of 2014 (Sorry Wolfenstein) | Enemy Front

Ойындар

ENEMY FRONT is the first truly modern WW2 FPS, featuring actually pretty decent visuals, one open-ended level and the rest is a hallway, and a richly interactive (???) combat experience that copies the standard model of highly linear scripted FPS experiences. Pre-order now and get the multiplayer map pack for free!

While the Germans were known for their vehicles and engineering, they had the major problem of having a lack of fuel. So that large barrel you saw was a fuel tank that was transported by horses. By the end of the war the Germans were relying more on horses than their diesel powered vehicles

Development of this must have been a wakeup call for City Interactive. For most of their existence they've had an output of one budget game every 6 to 8 months so their entry into the Seventh Gen was less then graceful judging from Ghost Warrior. Enemy Front was announced in 2011 but was definitely on the drawing board along their first major AA launch and had a pretty rough development but bless their hearts they NEVER gave up. Gotta hand it to them, it's pretty on the eyes for a final cry of the 360/PS3 but damn it plays rough. It's exceptionally hard to refill on ammo from fallen enemies as their bodies disappear mere seconds after killing (and for some reason the weapons are *Tied* to that particular ragdoll's existence on the physical plane) them which thankfully can be fixed by editing some files. But credit where it's due, it's one of only two games off the top of my head that focuses on the Warsaw Uprising!

I actually like Enemy Front. Not because it's particularly good or anything but because I got for 5 dollars on steam and we barely get any games in WW2 Poland...or Poland in general. Also pretty sure this game got a few fixes on PC.

True story: was reading a wwii tank commander's memoir, and he mentions ditching his Sten and picking up an mp40 to carry in the tank instead.

I remember playing this game on my Xbox, and wow... The game was simple unplayable... It had so many bugs, and sometimes the game would not exit the loading screen, or even freeze, but damn i played this game a lot, so i like him, is part of me

One of the few games I bought, played literally once, and have never thought about again. Saints Row 4 comes to mind, bought it at walmart for $20 and forgot about when i got home. still in the packaging lmfao

I didn't much like the story, and it was a very generic world war 2 shooter... but a fun one, and it came out at a time we weren't really getting any high production value cinematic ww2 shooters so I really enjoyed it too.

Ah Enemy Front, I remember seeing a funny review video from a German channel called AltF4Games. He made a song about Ronneberg with someone else and here are the lyrics to "Thank you Ronneberg": On a blood red morning Ronnie was summoned Leif Ronneberg - the fat midget Who gets every medal in war for senseless murder this is Ronneberg and we like him Because Ronnie has learned to live only for others and he does almost everything for them even if they don't pray for it, because: who kills my mother in law when she's cooked badly again Ronneberg - thank you Ronneberg Who beheads my nasty butler when he's having a bad day Ronneberg - Thank you Ronneberg On a rainy afternoon Ronnie stabs a landlord a stuffy citizen who kidnapped Dietrich. And Ronnie always stands still in the same room and nobody can go because Ronnie is in the way Because Ronnie has learned to live only for others and he does almost everything for them even if they don't pray for it, because: Who just gets in the way and praise me when the lights go out Ronneberg - thank you Ronneberg Who believes that he lives right because he doesn't understand life Ronneberg - thank you Ronneberg Become a Ronneberg too help people to live well even if that's basically what it means that they die today Thank you Ronneberg
