@@YienLiu There's many people who can get under 4:30 here in Cali, especially the Southern Section. But yes I do agree it's very impressive. One of our old Arcadia runners got 4:20 for the 1600 as a freshman. AKA Phillip Rocha

Hard to see without a slit lamp but that could become preseptal cellulitis. Apply warm compresses (you can buy heat pads for your eyelids from the pharmacy) x5-10 minutes then gently massage your eyelids after application of the warm compress. Do this daily and do not squeeze the lesion on your eyelid. If the eyelid becomes swollen, red and warm, it is turning into preseptal cellulitis which is an infection in front of a plate in your eyelid known as the septal plate. If this occurs, you should visit your local eye doctor for oral antibiotics as topical medication doesn’t really help much. Best wishes, Fellow runner and optometrist

Interesting High School PRs. Seems like you are more of a natural speed based runner who will improve your PRs at mile/1500 by getting stronger. If you can break 50 for 400, without, I would imagine, specific sprint training you have a lot of natural speed.

When someone asks how much mileage, more accurate answer would be running by time. At least 5 hours a week if somebody wants to call himself a runner. 7 hours is pretty good for high school, but elite runners mainly 10-12 hours a week, it means usually two training sessions a day
