About FUJI Sports:
FUJI Sports (together with Hatashita Sports) was founded by Frank Hatashita, 8th Dan. Hatashita Sensei was Vice-President of the IJF (International Judo Federation), and President of the Pan American Judo Federation, among other positions including an IJF referee, and owner of many dojo and affiliates. He was instrumental in lobbying to get Judo into the Olympics. His sense of knowing what was most important in martial arts was second to none; and, anyone that knew him would attest to that.
To this day, FUJI Sports produces only the highest quality products at the best possible prices with the careful eye and passion of two leaders in the industry: Lia Hatashita and Jimmy Pedro. Jimmy, a 4-time Olympian, 2 x Olympic Medallist, World Judo Champion and most recently coach to Olympians including gold medallist, Kayla Harrison, brings an astounding amount of knowledge to the company and wants only the best for athletes, and anyone who commits themselves to learning a martial art.

I have been in Judo from 9-13 I'm 29 now. And all these crazy years I have been thru so much. Drugs, alcohol, partying... but Judo always stayed in my mind and finaly I've cleaned myself from all the bad habits and back to Judo for 4 months now. Good luck to those who joined. 👍

Wow I watched 3 videos before finally finding one where someone talked me through it. Thanks I got it now!
Many thanks for this. It was very helpful.
Thank you so much, first video I’ve found that’s simple and effective. So many people want to over complicate this 👍🏾
Thank you for keeping this short and simple

Simple and smooth. Thanks.
So helpful. Tomorrow is my first class in a gi and knowing how to get kitted up is slightly important.
I'm still having trouble
Thank you sir
This'll help me win my judo training's "who can tie your belt the fastest" competition. Thanks!
Thank you so much
Finally figured it out THANK YOU . This is my 2nd week in jujitsu
Originally, I was going to do bjj but noticed how damn expensive it is, so im settling for judo - the next best, much cheaper alternative, and here i am

Why is bjj expensive?

@@kickboxveteran2528 I think because of how nuanced it is it requires much more skilled instructors maybe?

They are both great dude, bjj feels amazing and the control you have over someone is great and judo is just one of the coolest arts, you become tough like no one and the throws are slick af.
Thanks Sensei Max! 👊
Omg thx so much before I just did a bow xD U helped me so much I give u a like and a sub
im a white belt in jjj and this helped alot, thanks!
Awesome video totally works
i watch this video 3 times a week
Thanks dir the video :)
THANK YOU
Hi, thats a competition tie. The starting from one end and wrap around twice is much better that those ways for your regular practice. Rick, Nidan
Thank you, you taught me how to tie my judo belt!!
thanks a lot! But can you do one using a white belt as well? Im struggling to follow it because I am still a white belt
Thx
Is it indifferent: right or left obi's end go inside?

When it comes from the back, the left tail goes OVER the one from the right (just like the gi, left over right) and then underneath both layers, if you use the reinforced knot then that's the first to go between the two layers.
Why we band the judo belt
After 4 years judo and 4 years bjj is time to learn
Green belt and I still struggle, hope this works!
I am only 11 years old and play judo

During my first class I wear it the other way
I do Japanese Jiu-Jitsu for 10 years and yesterday we were talking with each other and we found out that all of our higher belts are tieing their belts differently and we were like HOW? So I just learned three more ways how to tie a belt at 18 y.o. 😂
No judo tie?
I thought the second knot could only be used by black belts in judo ? I understand it's used for everyone in BJJ
The way of beginers
I have a brown belt and I still couldn’t. Now I can

This is the basic tie. I like the Hollywood.

hollywood is a lie
It should be one all the way around
Why are you doing bjj at 106 years old?(nothing wrong by the way)
The belt should not cross on the back. The correct way is one over the other.
It crosses I the back, not comfortable. Should be folded in half and then held at belly button.
127 years old. Starting judo tomorrow, this video helps a lot.
Crossed it up in the back 👎🏼 Single belt around the entire waist is the way
no help at all
Thx
