I do exactly the same you did. And I get a ton of clicks and visits. But harldy followers. How long does it take until I get more followers? I also setup a retargeting for engagers which do not follow yet. What is the ratio engagers vs. followers I should aim for?

I want to know that by using ads, the ads comes up as sponsored content which can be a turn off for people who don’t want to see ads, is there a way that one can promote their channel in a more natural way rather than being sponsored as an ad? This will be helpful to understand, thank you

This is a really great question and I understand the want to not come across as “overly promotional”. When it comes to paid promotion you can’t avoid the sponsored label, so what’s more important is making sure the content you share fits right into someone’s feed, and that it’s tailored for your audience. In the end we’re all used to ads now so we’ll just swipe by if it’s not for us. Prioritize great content for the ad and it won’t be as interruptive as you think! - T

Great question and great answer! My concern about ads is that once you stop paying, will that same post continue to perform organically as Meta knows that you have stopped paying? My limited experience is that the post would die once the $ stops and would lose the organic traffic it enjoyed before becoming an “ad”. If this is correct then it might be better to just create a new ad that looks like a legitimate ad instead of a post with a weird “Sponsored “ tag!

I love these videos! This channel is one of the best out there when it comes to social media marketing. One thing that nobody talks about is the timing. When should you start using ads to attract more followers/sales? I am started a business insta page with 0 followers. Should I wait for a few months or should I just start running ads to increase following?

Really happy to hear :) For ads, it'd be best if you have at least 12 posts up on your account, and a few pinned posts that very directly explain how to work with you or buy from you, etc. All the information that a potential customer would want to see. Otherwise you'd be wasting money sending traffic to an account that isn't going to convert them. Hope that helps! - C

Hi! I'm following step by step however I'm stuck at the Ad Set level, I'm not seeing the option to point traffic to my Instagram profile (the conversion). I see website, app (greyed out), Messaging Apps, Calls. Any clue of what might be preventing the IG option to be offered? Thank you.

There is a chance the feature hasn't landed in your ads manager yet, I held off for a while getting this video out because it seems like most accounts have it now, but things do roll out in phases so perhaps check in again in a couple weeks to see if your account has been updated. 🤞 Hopefully won't be too long! - T

Hi Myah! We typically don't talk much about TikTok on the channel, but my understanding would be that it'd work similarly to Instagram. Hi, it's supposed to tell you what the error is. Usually they email you about it, and when you edit the ad (at the ad level), you'll see error messages there, normally on the top right of the page - C

Tips with no case study proof that the strategy worked. In the beginning of the video she stated she tested. Where are the results? A screenshot showing followers? Anybody can take a screenshot? Why not show “on this date we had this much, here is the reporting dashboard after we finished running the test campaigns, these are the final results on how many followers we grew with x amount of dollars spent”. But by making claims and showing how to, doesn’t necessarily prove it’s the best way to get followers. Love the channel but you need to provide more evidence before creating a claim.

Hey! Really appreciate that feedback, I focused more on delivering the training and didn’t consider providing more screenshots as evidence (we don’t do this often because we aren’t able to share client dashboards). Also because we’re truthful and transparent I never considered whether that’d in question - but this is the internet. When we do tests like this on our accounts I’ll keep that in mind for the next time to do a quick showcase of dashboard (in this case # of profile visits + increase in followers during the ad period). Hope you did get some value out of the video though and here for any questions! - T

Hey! Definitely don't need to spend that high - the more you spend, the more you'll see but $10 per day is a fair place to start. We've seen around 800-1000 reached per day with that daily spend.

@@richmond4416 Sounds like a great start! Give it a try for a month and then reevaluate. If you're happy with the performance then keep going, and if not then switch it up, try some Reels, add video. The only suggestion I'd made is Reels are important so at some point you'll want to include them. Good luck! - C
