THE BEST WAY TO BEAT SKYRIM - The Fishing Rod Only Challenge

Ойындар

Skyrim is a classical RPG game which practically everyone has played in there life. This is partly due to the fact that they managed to port it onto PC, Xbox, playstation, switch and Samsung smart fridge. The list goes on. Anyway today we are discovering that skyrim is a perfectly balanced game with no exploits well excluding the fork. So today I chose to revisit the game and ask the question. What if they just used a fishing rod to defeat the dragon. and Can you beat skyrim with a fishing rod only? These are the important questions which have gone unanswered for too long! So yes today we are going to break the game with the power of Enchanted Fishing Rods that lead to the most overpowered skyrim build yet so can you beat the anniversary edition gameplay challenge of skyrim fishing only!
What you have seen here today is part of a fantastic perfectly balanced series on youtube where I go from game to game and break them with wacky exploits to gain things like unlimited gold. If you enjoyed this then be sure to check out more. The style is similar to RT game and callmekevin in parts. A large influence on this series has come from Valefisk and The Killian Experience.
So sit back relax and enjoy this skyrim challenge full of skyrim exploits and the best way to beat skyrim!

    @@thespiffingbrit hey spiff, i have my hands on a possible cheeky Skyrim exploit, farms and estates from the dlc, if you assign a follower to them and max them out you can make twice the money than if you were just regularly adventuring. and as we all know, that's perfectly balanced, but, maybe, in some way, if you just wait you can just wait forever and ever and earn tons of gold. depending on what the dependencies are for the gold to spawn (there might be none at all, or just simply opening a door once in a while or interacting with objects) you could print infinite gold, and if you set up tiny task (automatically does things for you, you record your actions and it plays it back, usually helps with auto farms) you could infinitely do it *all night long* but so far, this is only speculation, this might be the most overpowered way to get gold, or it might not, who knows.

    @@Ptr-ck7if hmm, even if you were just to stay in one interior cell while running the macro, it would probably bloat the file size and slow the game even without mods. I’ve cheese-maxed sneak with the bear in Helgen Cave a few times, and I’ve noticed what I believe is a slight overall slowdown of the game. Some of the times, I altered the timescale before setting up the auto-walk into the cave wall. Some other times, I altered the timescale after leaving Helgen Cave with 100 sneak. Time still passes while you’re in that interior cell. Even when I did this for a no level-up, get all skills to 100 playthrough, the slight slowdown was still present the whole time, so it’s not tied to levels. Long rambling over; I imagine there’s likely a cap on how long you could run that macro for (at any level) before the slowdown begins to effect you. … Actually, I kinda want to test this, but I’m on year 3 of taking a gameplay break from Skyrim. I don’t feel like putting in the effort to do the manual testing required for this. Todd got 1.5 copies of this game out of me before I started gaming on PC (I went halfsies on the 11/11/11 release). You would have to test the amount of money gained per house individually unless that already exists somewhere + test the waiting intervals. You would also have to test for game lag & file bloating too, which may have optimizations…

    Theres another item you can wear in the game that can be enchanted like a helmet/circlet and it can actually be worn at the same time with a circlet or more. It's a mask you can find from the falmer. Theres 2 types of items that look the same but theres a difference, the difference being that one is a mask while the other is a helmet. You'll find the helmet variety most times but theres an uncommon chance to come across the mask variant. With this mask you can achieve the following: head,circlet,neck,arms,rings in fortify alchemy instead of just a head piece or circlet and such. Quite balanced as all things should be.

    I like how on literally every difficulty level, the first fishing pole literally does more damage *before* you gain any skills, perks or enchantments then the steel sword, with a faster attack speed and more reach. And that it's the only weapon in the game with a proper thrusting animation not part if a kill cam. This raises the possibility the other weapons don't actually suck in comparison, you're just literally using them wrong. Because the fishing rods are all bugged and literally shows less damage then they actually do from day one.

    I'm not mad about it or anything, but yeah, it's disappointing when there's a Skyrim video and whatever thing is being done is via the restoration loop. This isn't specific to Spiff. Any Skyrim video by anyone in which it's restoration loop dependent is likely to be disappointing. In this case, it was especially disappointing because so much of the video was explaining the loop again. At this point, he could just devote less than half a minute to the loop, and it would not only be fine, but he could hype up past videos it was covered in.

  • @milesbarnes6777

    @milesbarnes6777

    Fortify restro loop is the foundation of all combat exploits though, and that’s what all these Skyrim videos have been about. I don’t blame him though, as combat exploits are the easiest to make a video on consistently. I would love to see Spiff do a Skyrim video (or 2 ep series?) where he does an older, pre-horse-clipping speedrun (more cheese, slightly less RNG, no barrier to entry, more entertaining to watch). It would take more time then usual to record, voice over, and edit, but he could narrate his learning and improvement process over, say, a week’s time. It would be MARVELOUS. I don’t know if Spiff could see success on such a video, or keep viewer retention if it’s 2 parts, as he’s not done a speedrun-focused video (I’ve been watching since early 2016 so please correct me if I’m wrong!). This idea for a video may not interest his audience, thus not be worth his time considering. Which is fine ofc. I know and have seen all the exploits in all his Skyrim videos so far, but it’s his unique charisma and commentary style that make these great to watch. Other games and the occasional real-world topic are what brought me here and keep me a fan, though!
