I only talked about my cheap winch and my other cheap winch at home that sucks.

Very cool your wife enjoys this with you. As for the used gloves, real fishermen don’t use gloves.

fun fact about cruise if you hit the throttle again the truck will speed up and just let off the truck will return back to your cruise set annnd the trims are for steering and cruise adjustments my brother just bought one after showing him your vids and we played played with it found all the cool features

So the Traxxas XL5hv esc has I think 5 modes, you turn it on and don’t let off until you see 5 flashes. That’s crawler mode, enables 100% drag brake, throw a fan on the stock esc and it’s fine

Traxxas trx4 sport rocks the new High Trail rocks love both of my RC Crawlers

You right trim dial can be programmed for a speed change with it. And go through the settings you can change sensitivity like a spektrum for example. There truly nice radios.

My suggestion and never fails me when I’m light in the front end on a climb I leave the rear un locked and go super light on the trigger like a faky dig. Also works good geo digging around corners.

i recomend the betu 35kg servo, i found it on amazon n did a small video on the install. Cheers yall

I forgot that I softened up the back shocks but stiffened the front ones and forgot to soften them back so it made it not perform as well. It will be ready next time.lol

Dude those are both bad ass I wanna get the k10 1:10 for my little one he’s only 3 but loves any RC car he has a little experience driving monster jam RC trucks The ones you and your wife are using in the video are 1:10 scale or 1:18

Treal 10 mm wheel hex. They work perfect gives it just enough stability some weight download would be better as well but I didn't have the money. I did notch my fingers a tiny bit not much just for body rub.

@@trevorb3521 Mine are 10 mm and it's pushing its limits I believe. But you may be OK. I did trim my front finder just a little bit for a body rub.

What wheel extensions are you using? I’m really interested in starting this hobby. I live the stance of your truck. I’m like you. Very limited budget. Would you recommend the high country over a trail finder 2?

I run the 10 mm extension it's about perfect. I have the brass ones from treal. I would definitely recommend the high trail over the TF2 only because the TF2 is not very durable and the gears will strip out in the front almost instantly because the tires rubbed the leaf Springs. But they look very scale and it's fine if you never drive it. TRX4 can take a lot of abuse. I have yet to break one. and I have 3 of them.

TRX4 Blazer is really good right out the box. Put the tires that you like on it

Hi. Would you reccomend Absima Crawler Sherpa CR3.4 4WD RTR? I am new to crawlers, did some research and i am wandering if Absima Sherpa is nearly as good as Traxxas TRX4 Bronco/Blazer/Defender or TRX4 Sport and Axial Capra 1.9 or Axial SCX10? Thanks in advance.

Let me get back to you on that. I'm not sure exactly which one that is until I look. It's hard to beat traxxas especially if you're new to crawling it's a little better to spend a few extra dollars and get something that will not break hardly ever. But there is a lot of cheaper crawlers that you can put a little money in and have a awesome truck.

Most 4WD crawlers take less abuse and are better for somebody who's into scale and not going to abuse them. They look nice but they're not as tough and they don't perform as well in my opinion.

Well I don't know a lot about that model but it looks nice. But for that price you can get Traxxas or axial but if you want something just a little different it does look good in the photo. I am honestly curious to how it performs I will be watching some reviews. But a TRX4 is hard to beat.

But Absima Sherpa is around $100-150 or more cheaper than Traxxas trx4 Bronco, Blazer, Defender (excluding the trx4 Sport which i am not sure is it up to par with the new Bronco, Blazer, Defender). I just want the best out of the box in that price range, sturdy crawler, no tuning and tinkering in that money/capabilities range. I did some research, supposedly the Absima Sherpa 3.4 4WD performs well, it has almost the similar features and capabilities of the Traxxis trx4 "car" model and "controler" vise (only trx4 Sport have less options and power as i understood). And i dont know what to think of Axial Carpa 1.9. But since it is my first crawler i dont wan buyers regret or spend more money for a feature that is miniscule. All are pretty much scale modes. Since i am from Croatia/Europe i dont have a wide selection to buy. Thanks for your further input in advance.

I've never broken anything on these trucks or on my red cat Gen8. Luckily I've only changed parts that I have wanted to change for upgrades. They are very tough. That's what makes them worth the money my opinion.

10mm They worked perfect. I had to trim the front of the body just a tiny bit by the bumper and I keep my shocks up high when I'm running big tires but I don't have any issues.

@@danielli959 Just the adjustment screw at the top of the shock that makes the Spring stiffer if you tighten it down. When I run smaller tires I loosen them up all the way so the Spring is not that stiff but when I put big tires I crank them down so it raises the truck.

@@danielli959 5 mm should be pretty good. If you're running the stock wheels still. other wheels and tires may differ on stance.

On the fruit loop challenge. Put a certain amount of loops in. For everyone that drops is a penalty. Just saying. They don't do that
