Hello, JMM magma orange and amber flush coating, what was the percentage of the amber flash? And I hear you mention also the sapphire flash there. For that jmm, amber or both amber and sapphire used?

I have a pair of Mykita Eli sunglasses. Gunmetal frame, green lenses. I'm thinking I should get a tint for indoors, nice dark sunglasses for the Australian sun. What combination do you think would suit best? Thanks in advance!

No it's not Zeiss it's from one of our independent partner labs in Italy.

That Crystal AR was exactly what I was looking for for my Masunaga back in May. Is it like a Cartier only thing or just not compatible with Zeiss lenses?

It's not a Zeiss coating unfortunately but we can do it on other glasses than Cartier.

We can give you a quote on an individual basis if you send us an e-mail. It usually take about 3 weeks to produce the lenses but these can be made in advance of you sending us/dropping off your frames so that you aren't without your glasses for that period of time.

Need some sunglasses recommendation here. I tried both sunglasses+glasses and transition glasses(photofusion) setup, both have their own issues. With 2 glasses solution, the problem is when I go out, I have to carry two glasses or I have to wear sunglasses when go indoor, like eating in a restaurant or going to bathroom which make my sunglasses usage becomes really low (waste of nice frame) With transition, it solves the problem of going out, but it has problem with driving. As everyone knows, windshield blocks UV so transition lenses don't turn dark :(

@@alan5245 well there not any other good option transition xtra or photo X both suck ass in the car and barely change, like 50 percent tint compared to sunglasses. best to have dedicated polarized sunglasses for driving or get a clip made.

@@capturedphoton yea I wasn't expecting some mindblown solution either, but would like to see if someone knows something. I heard that some brands do go dark in car (definitely not photoX), but don't know how well they work. Clip might also be a good option.

I don't get it: what's the point of these fashion tints? From what i can gather, when it comes to lens tints, you can have any colours in the rainbow but there are only a few that are truly functional: brown, grey and green.

They have a signifcant effect on your mood, contrast and perception of the world. The only situations where a tint colour isn't beneficial are video or photo editing, where colour accuracy is important. Grey, Brown and Green are some of the least functional tints. They are just the easiest to produce.
