Love my 04 convertible with the screaming 2.2 KB, never fails to put a smile on my face all that whine

I see 03-04 cobras all the time. I live in Michigan tho, near Detroit. Plus I own one and I have 4 friends that own 03-04 cobras too. Lol we always meet up in the spring summer and part of the fall

my absolute favorite favorite terminator is that mineral grey one the stance the looks especially with the hood vents like that the wheels everything about that car is just top notch

Bought a white coupe in Dec 2002, at sticker price, I think around 32k. Still have it, 91k miles, still has stock tune. Recently, I was looking to get another hardtop, but only verts for sale around here!

Currently have 5 in my city of 120k people that I am aware of, hope to all have a meet up one day like this.

Great video! I thought of a question and who better to ask than the #1 Terminator fan! The Terminator engine is a stout engine even by today’s standards. How come Ford and SVT didn’t push more HP out of the factory to blow the market away back in 2000s? I understand that they have to make a reliable vehicle that will sustain its warranty but the engine was put out with so much potential yet so much much left on the table. Thanks and amazing video!

First thanks for calling me the #1 terminator fan lol I don’t think I am but I take pride in being a fan of this car, I’ve loved this car since 06. Two part answer to this great question, 1 blower technology. Blowers back then just weren’t as efficient as they are now, now remember ford said 390 hp that’s a very conservative number, the motor was more like 430 hp from the factory. Second answer is that they didn’t need to make more power at that time, if you look at the competition the camaro SS was only making 320hp, the base corvette was 350hp and the way more expensive Z06 was 405hp at about $20K more than the cobra. The Terminator is called the Terminator because it’s mission was to terminate the discussion between the mustang and Camaro once and for all. The camaro was discontinued right before the cobra came to market. The Terminator over delivered. That’s why.

It was the blower holding it back more than the motor. If they had a 2.3 tvs or a 2650 tvs to put on it back then they could have had 600 hp from the factory pretty easily. The cars had about 430 as it is they were pretty underrated they consistently dyno 360-390 rwhp depending on alot of factors and the type of dyno. They were pretty badass for their time even stock but their rep isn't about what they did stock it is their potential. They had to stuff aftermarket h beam rods into it last minute to avoid canceling it and for this reason it was over built almost by mistake. The book iron fist lead foot goes into alot of detail about this I have never read it but I read all about these things when they were new I had every issue of mm&ff back then and I always loved them. I ended up getting an 07 gt500 for a steal and they're also great cars made very much in the vein of the terminator and the closest Ford to it imo as far as overall package and feel etc. Unfortunately they didn't get the badass rods but they can still take 800 wheel pretty reliably with a blower and are an upgrade in most other areas. These cars are legendary and they always will be. It's awesome being able to get an older more raw and rare car that has potential like alot of modern cars power wise.

Love your silver cobra! I also bought a cobra in 2020. Its a 10th anniversary torch red convertible. I have 12,000 miles on it. Love these cars man. 99-04 is my favorite style along with the 1969 fast back.

Very nice meet up. It is quite rare to see all of them in one place like that. I've only seen 2 while driving which is even more rare up here due to any nice cars being in winter storage for 4-6 months. The silver coupe that I did see was in fact going to a car show that I went to the following day and the other one I saw was one someone just bought and I believe he flipped it being that I have not seen it there again. Actually got to drive it and check it out for him as he did not know much about them and someone referred him to me to come take a look at it. At that car show we had where I saw the silver coupe the day before there were 4 Terminators there that day. Myself, the last subscriber ride Cobra video I did ( we live not to far apart ) My friend Fred and the silver coupe I saw while driving. I was shocked to see 4 at one show. Usually its just myself and Fred.

Yeah it’s quite rare seeing 4 terminators together. I’m hoping to gather at least 6 terminators this month, it’s been a challenge to say the least lol but I’m trying.

This is pretty cool, I own a 2003 SVT Terminator Cobra too. Actually next week I will be working in the Saint Lucie area and I’ll be driving my Terminator because my truck is in the shop getting fix. I don’t normally daily my car but I don’t have a choice 🤷🏽‍♂️ anyways if you in the area. I’ll be working down there from Wednesday to Friday next week February 15-17

It's nice to see Cobra owners get together. At the 2016 Ford Nationals in Carlisle Pa. there were at least 35 Terminators in attendance including mine. You should try to make it up there sometime, this year it's June 2 to 4, you won't regret it.
