Goes to show, iron block, forged internals, Ford built the bottom for severe duty. Pretty bulletproof.

Still a nice car and decent price. Terminators are my favorite car and have been since they came out. Big fan of the channel. I believe I found it around mustang week. Ive since watched just about every video from the beginning. The best part is you do all year mustangs.

I had just under 470 to the wheels on mine and it was hard to find someone that wasnt a german/vette/or heads cam camaro firechicken car that could win. This was 10 years ago of course but it just felt perfect power, was super fun to drive. Headers/MAF/lower pulley and better pumps i could say 500 ish and dust off any of the ones that i mentioned before and were close races. One of my best Races was a super sleeper honda, that thing stayed at my door, left me happy actually to beat a sleeper like his. guy was not happy though.

forgot to add proper suppras to the list of course, some great races were evos or subies, could stil beat them but they would get the pull on me from the line, Thats when roll races were not a thing yet.

My GT500 ran 8s with a stock gen 2 Coyote. Tuned by me. I’m throwing shade at Alex because he continues to knock me down and my business and it’s all based on a false premise.

I believe in your tuning skills. You're always going to get a hater or two. I had some guy tell me on my channel that modding cars was bad for them even when done right.

I mean technically if it's modified making more power especially boosted it is seeing more wear and tear but if it is done right with the right supporting mods and you keep up on maintenence stuff like you're supposed to it will last a long time and the extr wear and tear will end up as a wash. They see cars blow up boosted or with nitrous and people think oh the power adder caused it to blow up no starving it for fuel or spinning the rpm too high or having too aggressive of a tune for the fuel or whatever it was is what caused it not the fact that it had a power adder. I've seen boosted cars go 100+k no problem it really is a wash if it's done right. The fuel quality and tune along with supporting mods are most important.

How reliable is the wideband being in the rear o2 spot? My tuner says my WOT is fine but im seeing 12.4-12.5 WOT. 10lbs boost 93 octane(my tuner uses a pipe sniffer)

Typically pipe sniffer shows an even leaner result. If you are seeing 12.5 at the rear o2 then it’s probably pretty close to being right

i remember MotorTrend when they tested the terminator it was waaayyy slow amd they dyno and while most were 400hp and up the got a 300hp dud and ford had to send them another one

Them terminator's have an absolute PRECENSE on the road. When i happen to see one in my rear view mirror im always like "oh fuck a cobra"

Unfortunately life goes on and cars can’t be the priority for everyone. I’m very lucky to be in the position I’m in. Scott I believe moved out of FL and is married and settled in with family, Quad tip still works at ford and I see him often, George had a Supra for a while after the race and eventually sold it, and Ashley is my wife lol so I see her everyday

My ford ranger doubled in HP when I changed the failing fuel pump….. no dyno.and two bottles of vodka

16lbs on the 04 cobra....falling off to 13lbs. Sounds like typical boost fall off with a stock eaton to me. Port it or go twin screw.

How do you think other tuners do it? You literally begin with a stock type tune. Add injector/maf data. Mess with idle and startup, low timing until fuel is right etc

Yeah just forget all the years I’ve been working on these cars, building, and learning about how everything works. Tuning is comprised of knowing how an engine operates, knowing the targets and data you are trying to achieve, and using software efficiently to achieve a result.

I will say that I was not accused of getting longtube headers in VMP’s name and I did not accuse Alex of that either. It’s simply not true. Did I receive Longtube headers for cost back in 2016/17 for my KZread channel? Yes. And the $800 or so dollars was paid out of my business account for Scott(my business partner at the time). It was actually a fantastic collaboration at the time because the video content did extremely well and made VMP look really good. We also used catted headers which was a push Justin suggested pre epa issues.
