I didn't get the start of the desk until 3:46 🤣

I built my own when I built the new studio. There’s nothing like a standing desk. I honestly feel like I get more done and I’m definitely less fatigued by the end of the day.

I wish you would have talked about the stability a bit more and shown, on video if the table rocks side to side, or back and forth. Also when you're actually typing away if there's movement.

There is no movement. Very stable. The desk is insanely heavy or dense thanks largely to the metal frame and legs.

Been looking at standing desks; I'm gonna go with Jarvis. and I like all the bamboo theme. Plus I've seen how you can remove the top if later you want to change out for something different.

I found something very similar at Ikea. It's called the BLEKKLINT / LUNNOM. They have different light bulb shapes you can buy too. www.ikea.com/us/en/p/blekklint-lunnom-table-lamp-with-led-bulb-brown-s69415894/

What is the width of the hight adjustment control panel that is mounted on the Jarvis desk? I am asking because I want to know if it will hit the arm of the chair if you go with a smaller desk top.

Hey Matt, I was wondering what was your experience with the stability of the desk while in everyday use? That’s been my main concern when looking at all of these desks. Does it wiggle everywhere when you’re typing and using the desk in general?

I own a fully desk, it doesn't wiggle with normal typing even when in the standing position and things don't fall over if you're raising or lowering the desk, but if you bump it and you have figurines etc that will fall over more easily than a non standing desk. You can lock the wheels the desk doesn't move back or forth for more stability.

In case you didn't know already, if you ever get the EEE error message (usually seems to happen when the lens focuses close with a lens filter on), just take the battery out and wait a few minutes and put it back in, and it will be fine.

@@thedondeluxe6941 No problem. Even though I knew it could happen, it still had me worried for a second. Some people claim that they can't be repaired anymore, but they can. If you do ever use filters (ND, yellow for example) there's an extension ring you can get from Cokin, which just helps extend it slightly further from the lens mechanism. This then means the built in hood won't reach far enough forward to have any effect (if you want it), but the screw on Contax G series hoods go on nicely. Probably you also know, but another thing is when rewinding the counter will blink just before it finishes if you still want the leader left out (swapping films mid roll for example). Great cam, though. I sort of half miss it, and half don't. The shutter button on mine was a bit hesitant sometimes. Kind of want another one even though I don't need it. LOL

@@Ruylopez778 Yes, I know of at least one guy who can repair them, so that's good to know. I think it's pretty well built. Konica cameras and lenses from that era seem to be very good quality.

It does shake a bit, so if you are ultra OCD, i do recommend 4 leg option, its much more stable and quieter
