WOw.. I'm also a toy collector from the Philippines. I collect Kamen Riders and finger puppets of Ultraman SuperSentai and also Kamen Rider , especially Kamen Rider Black. Man I envy you, hope that I can visit Japan too in the near future.

I just came from japan, and its sad as the gigantic mandarake in akihabara has been wiped of kaiju, the same with jungle. However i was to discover a new mandarake which opened last month also in akhihabara, where all the vintage kaiju have been moved.

I used to live in Daikanyama for work ( sneaker designer) in the early 2000's. The amount you see today is still great, but man there was so much more back 15-17 years ago before the internet killed so many of the mom and pop shops, and the prices back then, making me weep. Love the video... but man the first time I went there in 98' the it was just another level of insanity available.

Ive been shopping with Mandarake online for my SIC Kamen Rider and always wondered what the shop looked like. I gotta say, it looks exactly how I thought it would, spot on! ANd it so true what you said about the tiny blemishes and it being reduced. I sometimes can't even tell the difference which gives more power to the buyer. Mandarake is awesome!

Luckily we had two suitcase allowed each, so while there bought some huge zipper bags and all the clothes went on them and all the toys and valuables went in the hard suitcases

@@slimehousetv nice one man. I managed to send back two boxes via EMS shipping. My check in bag didn't weigh all that much but it was huge (a cheap suitcase bought in Akihabara). One of them has arrived. Fingers crossed the other one does too. I managed to get away with a large carry on bag for my clothes and everything else. It was tight haha.

I actually bought two big zipper bags and threw all the clothes in them, and field the suitcases with the precious stuff so it all came back nicely! Of you watch episode 04 of this series on here you can see how we got it all back :D

Otaku doesn’t mean geek or nerd. It means obsessed fan who has no social skills and generally lives with their elderly or overly protective parents. So when you call yourself an “Otaku” you’re not saying a good thing. As usual, people from other cultures get the meaning wrong, as wrong as the pronunciations (just as the Japanese do with English). 😅😅😅
