Heartbreakingly enough that girl sprained her ankle while prepping the kitchen and volunteered herself for elimination after she couldn't stand the pain anymore. Which sucks cause despite being injured she pulled the best dinner service out of her team.

5:26 51 year old chef has my utmost respect. Both did a sublime job, awarding them both points. But the first thing he does is not clap in celebration of his own accomplishments, but extends a hand congratulating his competition. That's the sort of man I would like to become.

Southern Midwestern = young and old accents are COMPLETELY different, with the seniors having heaviness and younger tends to be incredibly generic. Northern Midwestern = young southern Midwestern + Canadian stereotypes. Even within states, accents change. In places where it’s city to rural, the accent is ‘hey, dude, can I borrow a few dollars for a soda?” or ‘yee, got a buck er two fer a pop?’ Like intricacies are huge in specific American accents. It’s been said time and time again-America is essentially five countries standing on each other’s shoulders so they can be in the big boy club.

Fernando's dish is one of my favorite moments in the series. Just seeing Ramsay roast him left and right just to immediately be told what's right by the dish was satisfying. I was rooting for Fernando for the rest of the season because of that.
