How's it going on? Your Capra tips are spot--on and time tested for sure. Slow it,lower it, and soften the shocks . If you do these things.... "BINGO" now that's a crawler.

I've ordered the STH skid for the 3 gear trans and plan on trying to install a Hobbywing Fusion 2300kv but i did not know about the driveshafts needing swapped so that piece of info is definitely appreciated. I have the front axle from a Capra kit that i never finished so im going to rear steer mine using a set of Eco Power 120 servos and my Flysky GT5. I will also start looking for a set of 90mm shocks. Thanks.

It’s definitely geared to high it’s fun t have some speed but the Capra is a Crawler so slow speed modulation & a very good drag break is critical. Especially in tight areas or where there’s a drop or cliff & the consequences are high. But even in stock form it’s like a cheater rig it goes over anything & just a blast to wheel. You gave my some good ideas mine is mostly stock with a Reefs front servo removed the lower shock plastic bottoms to give it a lower stance & added a few scale things like fire extinguisher & did some mods to the fuel cell to dress it up a bit. I have a few nice motors so I’m probably going to switch it out also. Thanks for the tips there’s so many options & things you can do with the Capra it’s just a great platform no matter what you do with it.

I love my four-wheel steer Capra. I mainly wheel mine in the Cascade mountains of Washington State. We go from snowy as hell to dry running creek beds riverbeds, and to be honest with you I love running 2.2's on mine but I got to run some Pro-Line shocks 95 mil adapters just to get them through. In the heart of the winter I go back to my factory axial shocks and run my 2.2 deep woods. Where I'm willing that's what gets you by
