I need a help, do you know when you click aim and you will see the horse to give command or to se his/her information, because everytime I have a gun fight and I have a horse or animal nearby my character not aiming but go watching the fucking animal or horse is frustrating because sometimes I died because of that, is there a solution?

If you're on PC you can use Steam controller settings to map button clicks to the touch pad so you don't have to mash X or A to run on foot or on horse. It essentially turbo clicks for you as a toggle. It's particularly nice for long horse rides. That could be a neat video to show people. I'm surprised it's not an option in-game under accessibility.

Some times when the controller have loosened springs from the use a calibration from the windows options helps and fixes the issue. DLSS - I have the same problem. It makes me creasy and I'll take your advice there, turing it off. The filters... I never played with these knobs there. Thanks a lot for the tip Sir. All the best.

Sweet vid, just started again on red dead ( PS4 to Xbox series ) and have switched to free aim, was looking at a control set up 👍🏻 have you done a gta one too haz?

When u have a controller that's working fine, just turn the dead zone off completely. It's literally just for controller which are moving forward by themselves. When the analog stick is broken. When it's fine, u just have input delay.

I like FPS alternate control ( helps not quick draw kill accidentally having the trigger and weapon wheel switched

Just got a new laptop last year and this video still helps with RDR2 graphics!

You tried out Standard FPS 2? It assigns run/sprint to RB/R1 so you can activate eagle eye while maintaining sprint and keeps RB/R1 for sprint while on horses/vehicles so you don’t have to take your thumb off the stick to smack the A button.

Fps2 enables to hold L1 + R1 tonic spam

Setting lighting to medium removes lighting from the moon and also some indoor bounce light, which will make the game darker in nightscenes. If your PC can run it HIGH would be my default. So i can see why people complain that the game is to dark advising lightning to medium.

It's also one of the biggest FPS hogs in the game, which is why he's using the hardware unboxed settings. And personally, using high is just not worth it. Yes, nighttime looks better with it on high, but we are easily talking a difference of 20+ frames lost. If you play at 1440p+, the only way you can afford that fps hit is if you are rocking a 3080+. Especially in places like Saint Denis, your framerate will tank. Lighting and water are the last things you want to turn up if you care about frames.

@@Entreped Yes you are totally right but like i said, 'if your pc can run it, HIGH would be my default'. For me a stable 60FPS in RDR2 is enough and i rather have more eyecandy, this isn't a (competitive) shooter where you want the lowest input delay and highest frames possible.

@@Kansloos I want eye candy too. I just won't go lower then 60 fps. And even my 3070 will drop sub 60 in places like Saint Denis if lighting is on high. And that's at 1440p. It wouldn't be remotely possible at 4k. 1080p on the other hand can probably max everything and be fine.

If you have an Invidia graphics card, you can use GeForce experience to automatically optimize the graphics settings for what your graphics card can run with no issue.

I use my 4k TV as my monitor for my PC, and with these settings I finally achieved constant 60fps on this massive 50" screen, so thank you for tht.

In my ps5 settings I don't have "horse control while aiming " and i'm wondering if video is from PC or Xbox? I need to be able to adjust this unless the simple horse control covers this. Thanx, your videos are very helpful!

Somebody just posted that you can change the controller settings to hold a REEL IN button down, instead of twirling the R Joystick round and round. I'm gonna try this later today.

I standard FPS2. That way RB is run. I played that on GTAO and crushed it. People would be standing still while shooting, vs me running and shooting

I love Standard FPS 2 , Standard is just horrible and Standard FPS 1 have Broken my Left stick

On PS4 if you hold the left trigger while having a weapon equipped to aim it while driving a wagon, UT auto steers. You can hold x to go faster but you don't have to drive

@@jannis214 Yes it does, I use it every time on PS4, couple of taps to get the wagon rolling, then hold touchpad to go into cinematic mode, then just hold X button for rest of journey, if you lucky your character rolls straight through revenue agent road blocks with no shooting. This tip has also been written on Reddit posts. Try it. 🙂

Is free aim really free aim if you’re using the PIB card? I use Quite an Inspiration or Slow and Steady so gonna have to try free aim with those.

I believe if you have toggle to run on Standard controls, it let’s you just tap x once to run and tap x to cancel. Good for those with a janky L3

Can someone explain why inverted look was ever a thing? I remember thinking this even at 7 years old playing golden eye on N64 . Am I in the minority and there’s a legit reason why inverted was the default back in the day?

I like having vibration on in this game if I did not it would be hard as hell to find collectibles and treasure maps because I use that to guide me specially on a treasure map are use Igor I also but when I’m not certain part of the map are usually know there’s a collectible in that area without looking on the Collectors map because of my vibration and also I hate fishing in this game because you have to rotate around the thumb stick to reel in the fish but if there’s a way to change that I would love it

Yes there is a way to change it instead of rotating the analog which i say it’s a awful of a mechanical use in games it just stresses out the analogs go to your settings an change it to square ps4/ps5? to reel in with just pressing back here an there on the analog to reel in your fish it’s way easier than rotating an stressing your analogs out✌🏼press let the fish fight for awhile when he stops reel in slowly in the end pull back

It is not that hard, with vibration on except U are using Xbox Controller, if the battery running low like 30%, The Vibration will Shut off by itself

I've got a 3090 GTX and starting to get frequent game crashes - Rockstar has suggested verifying files, Did it. Didn't help. They suggested removing various Launcher and Social Club folders and reinstalling Launcher. Did it. Didn't help. They suggested switching Gamebar settings to off. Did it. Didn't help. Game still crashes (particularly coming out of cut scenes. ) Their most recent suggestions were to change from Vulcan to DX12 not in the Graphics settings oddly but by modifying one of the RDR files with notepad to basically do the same thing. Weird. Did that and now my audio cuts out suddenly in game to my sound bar. Can still hear with headphones though. Not sure if the game will still crash. Any suggestions?

Can you make a guide on hand to hand combat vs real players. There's times i hit them and they stumble back but when i try killing them with a shot, they get me first

When blocking, Move your stick to dodge left or right. Makes counter punching easier than spamming. And make your character overweight to help against folks who want to just choke u.

I tried free aim and you gotta see how bad i got clapped by other people ( I was already bad with aim assist)

Everyone on PC has no idea what auto lock is! I don't know what auto lock is...

Does anyone know if you can adjust the game files on PC to lower the sensitivity? Free aim too fast, even on zero sensitivity with 400 DPI. Using scoped weapons is the only real option because scopes lower the aim sensitivity further which makes aiming nice. Mid range to close range aim is waaaaay too sensitive

@@piwopaliwo765 i don't play anymore but the mnk settings on their lowest are too fast. Other games like DayZ have this issue and you can change the sens in the game files to fix it. Not the case with rdo

I’d like a free aim and no PIB card. PIB just ruins free aim IMO.

I find these settings worse than default; maybe I am just a bad player. Also the frame rates seem choppy now. Ps4 user here

If you want others to be forced in to free aim, you must be in defensive mode (it prevents lock on). If you are in free aim whilst offensive you will have little chance of defending your self against attackers. If you attack first you'll be kicked out of defensive immediately. Make sure your ability cards suit free aim and defensive play. For example 'paint it black' is useless in defensive.

You just have to find her and then pay her some gold so that you can start collecting. Just like all the other roles.

Once you get use to it, you won’t change back

But isn’t turning off vibration a disadvantage when treasure hunting or knowing when a card or liquor bottles or mounds are around to dig up etc? And for fishing I rather push square to reel in than to twist the analog around i find that stressing out controller analogs i hate it when games have that mechanic where you have to move or shake your analog left an right or all around all crazy it’s just bad for analogs.

I won’t use Standard FPS 1 , it screwed up my left stick , I will stick with Standard FPs2 which is Feel more natural than the Horrible standard
