He’s a great run stopper. The bent against his run defense is Warren Sapp, who just couldn’t help himself, started that noise. It’s bovine excrement & I feel bad that CTE is publicly becoming an issue for Sapp

That was earlier in his career. Now Sapp praises him and Sapp doesn't really compliment any defensive linemen

Maaan, I am so envious of the Rams for having this guy. Their defensive front’s good anyway, but he just is a major pita, seemingly even when he’s a little dinged. I’m a Charger fan but watch all LA area games. It’s just night and day, Rams vs. us. (Not so good last year.) We have had, in the past, some pretty good defensive fronts - but it’s frankly been awhile. :/ (Reuben Davis, Hand and Parella, Jamal Williams, etc.) Had some hopes for this year’s draft but just too many other needs. oh well

Mack, Johnson, Joseph-Day, and Bosa is possibly the best D line we have ever had. If they play how they are expected itll be a great year, but yeah Donald is a beast. Imagine if we had him instead of Johnson thatd be the best D line ever.

@@palmtrees2420 not as good as 2005, Merriman, Steve Foley, Jamal Williams, Igor olshanski, Luis Castillo. We had a few other good years. (Big Hands, Dean & Kelcher etc.) The problem is Johnson and SJD are journeymen (SJD high level journeyman), not elite, nor is Mack probably at this stage in his career. (Maybe, not sure, hoping.) But they’re good enough, if they can stay healthy**. Herbert’s the difference. ** - all have injury issues though.

They doubled him almost the entire game and the defense was great in that game. They only allowed 13 points on think. That was not on AD. Funny you didn't mention the more recent SB?

Aaron Donald is FAR overrated. There are 10 DE's who are hands down better than Aaron Donald. Aaron Donald is just the best in his position on the interior of the defensive line. Put Aaron Donald on the edge and he's below average. The BEST player in the NFL is TOM BRADY!. To say Aaron Donald is better than Tom Brady is like saying Joe Biden is the best president in the history of mankind.
