Tom, you clearly have your finger on the pulse of the fan base. My first words on game day were “Win or lose, we at least have the knowledge that we got to play a Super Bowl in the Raiders stadium before they even got to play a playoff game in it. And that brings me great joy.”

This season was a rollercoaster, it's almost like they were bored during the regular season and just waited for the playoffs. It was worth it all in the end! Also, Lenny!

One thing springs to mind from the off-season. I think it was Reid who basically said their season didn't start until the playoffs. This season definitely felt like it. The problems on offense were still there, bit you could see a whole other mindset in the playoffs

The way that defense was playing why would you doubt? It was only a matter of time before the offense was going to work out the turnover problem, and like I said with the way the D played was legendary. You realize they are the all time greatest defense that's ever played in the NFL. If the Bears and Giants can do it I knew the Chiefs would. Because they are better than those teams. I NEVER DOUBTED! Cause other teams would have to deal.

The Chiefs won the division easier than ever in 2022, and they were the number one seed throughout the entire playoffs. Worse, they won the Super Bowl. They may have gotten slightly worse in the regular season this year, but they were only hiding their true form until the playoffs started. They still won the Super Bowl. Yes, I’m in a place worse than hell. I had to watch Melvin Gordon get a ring after our worst season ever, and then watch John Elway present the Chiefs their 4th Lombardi trophy. 🤮

Harbaugh is a great coach, but so it Peyton, and look at what happened to the Broncos. As a Chiefs fan, I can confirm those were my exact feelings during the Jets game. So many people whined over that last call but one they don't tell you is the only reason the Jets clawed their way back in is because tbd refs gifted the Jets a safety off of a foul that clearly didn't happen in the endzone that's what sparked the comback in the first place. On a side note, watching John Elway give the Chiefs the Lombardi was a perfect way to close out this beautiful season.

As someone who lives in KC and loves the Chiefs you really nailed the ups and downs of the season! I honestly had no real hope, then we kicked it in when it was necessary. I gotta tell you though, I’m way too old to be having these last 15 minute pressure episodes. I mean, come on! Can’t we just get ahead by 20+ one time so I can ENJOY a game, lol. Granted Pat’s at his best when under pressure but not everyone is and he can throw the ball, as long as there’s someone there to catch it! Going for 3 now!

My favorite part was your reaction to the Bills game starting at 4:24. When the kick went wide right, I had flashbacks to the Bills from the 90's and had in my mind that the missed kicks never happen to benefit us; but then it did. You could have thrown a tomahawk chop in there, as we do that a lot. And, to edit two of your great comments together, we had John Elway hand us the Lombardy in the Raiders' stadium, a place no one in the AFC west except the Chiefs have played a playoff game.
