I need to update my workshop here in the Eiran Mtns was my first thought 😃 Boy you work fast! 😂 Seriously though, lovely idea and practical, I guess the only addition would be to make it adjustable but that might make it weaker... then again it is a rocker not a deck chair. Thank you for your inspiration. Blessings too your beautiful life & family. 🥰 💖🙏🌻

the author does like to from scratch, shaping and trimming wood from large blocks into fine finished products. kzread.infoUgkxD-QRFQz730FJEh4f9BYSf-nkIMIC9hL_ as another reviewer mentioned, most projects require a lot of high-dollar equipment that most of us dont have the room or budget for. But, knowing how to do these things, even if we wont be able to practice the full stack project, is still great.

With a ridiculous amount of lathe work making dowels out of pallet wood. Screwing dowels to rope? Drilling out nuts. Structural Hinge harware barely attached. In the end I'm looking at the child's hand about to be sheared off in one of the many pinch points. No thanks!

Yep I’m pretty fed up of the constant clickbait BS on this channel and not even hinting at what the project is. I just scanned the playhead through this one in 10 seconds and then came here to check the comments. I’d unsubscribe, but I’m not subscribed... will have to be a thumbs down then 👎🏻

Love your channel and your work.. I am cabinet maker of 45 years and must caution you on use of jointer.. having your hand on top of work piece when passing over a jointer is a good way to lose your fingers or hand.. I was lucky when i nicked a finger once.. A mistake i never repeated and had a coworker had his hand pulled into the jointer... It pulled the tendons out if his arm, wrapped around the cutter head and stalled the motor.. Please be safe!!! Keep being creative!!

Whereas recycling pallet wood is laudable, not only do i not have a $10,000 workshop to back it up but i actually wear safety boots when dealing with wood with great big rusty nails and not irresponsible flip-flops. Accident just waiting to happen. My cousin built his garden shed from pallet wood and i built several compost bins. Hard to believe pallet wood was as good as portrayed here!

I agree that is the freshest, newest looking, old pallet I've ever seen. Maybe for his next "genius idea" he can design and make some shoes, or better yet, some work boots. That way he wouldn't have to tear his new pallets apart in sandals. Seriously, he could get a nasty splinter wearing those. Lol.

Excellent revamp of the humble deckchair, pinched fingers I can see, whether children or adults, I do like it though, also you could use canvas for the seat as an alternative, My main concern is wearing the appropriate footwear especially with pallets, I’ve broken down pallets and it can be very easy to put your foot down on one of those nails, always wear proper work shoes. Great finished product.

Superb! One question, do you have a problem with the nail holes marring the finnish or do you fill them before gluing or just somehow avoid them? Lovely to watch a fellow carpenter! One of the marvellous aspects of living in America is the ready access too hardware bits like the ones you used... I guess one can get them online these days... also how relatively inexpensive the worksop tools are there. I just paid the equivalant of $3k for a good bench saw, imported from the UK too Eire here. Adore your little lathe! 💖🙏🌻
