I’m 66 and a semi-retired advertising photographer. Of all the things I’ve built, from the studio next to my house to the decks and stone patios and a host wooden boxes, etc., the one I’m proudest of is a fully adjustable drafting table for my now 25 year old daughter. All maple and solid as the day I finished it, 15 years ago. Great Idea and brilliant work, dad! Cheers

The first half of the kzread.infoUgkx3ICSK6nSknaL_45CU2NmFSoXjarGMDiJ book is everything about wood: types, tools, finishes, setting up shop etc. The second half is all about doing projects for inside and outside of the home. The color pictures are helpful. After reading a dozen of these types of books, this is probably the best overall (layout, color photos, plans). Only detraction is that many of the projects use a table saw/router/planer, which are usually expensive and take up space, so the plans are less friendly to newcomers and the budget conscious. But I know I can use a drill, circular saw or a jigsaw to make the projects.

Things he built were homes he designed & other intricate objects people commissioned him 4. He would have appreciated the desk/chair combination & the time u took 2 make it 4 ur daughter. I miss him & the times he took 2 teach me. 😊🤗

Your always gonna get haters man. Not trying to be stupid here, but sometimes I don’t think people really think about how much work some of these creators put into these videos. Between the projects recording and editing. Even if they don’t particularly like the project, you should at least respect the work they put into it. Or at least you would think so.

@@k9insomniac783 this is how anti free speech starts, if someone doesn't like it, so be it. If they do great. There isn't a good thing that comes from removing dislikes, and what you are saying sounds like the start of that same crowd. I understand what you are saying for sure and maybe I could provide another perspective. Some creators take that criticism and adapt or remove content people don't like. after all, like you said, they spend lots of time filming editing etc and for him not to get paid because He was doing something annoying, lighting, mic issues etc is tragic. So some of them will reach out and see what people want to see. That's how the trending algorithm works, others resort to click bait, which is what this guy did. So some people hate that fact.

@@joshyingling and your right. The freedom of just “moving along” should be as respected as the right to dislike and criticize.. I guess my comment was more based on the state of moral ethics and courtesy more than stopping any who dare to sprinkle salt or simply share their opinion. I know that’s not how you meant it by the way. I’m always open to people opinions, even those that cut me a little. It’s the trolls that really irritate me. They really have no opinion one way or another. They come equipped with every trigger for any circumstance and keep pulling it under eventually they get the result they are after. I’m a wood carver by trade. Not a great one, or even a good one, but it’s what makes me happy in my downtime. About 10% of the feedback I get is critique. 85% is normally kind, but that 5% is just silly hatred. Pointless. But yet I wouldn’t want anyone to not have the right to say what they feel, regardless what it is. I’m not a fanatic that pounds my fist when I see people get verbally abused, I just wish that people would really stop and think about what they say. It’s a pipe dream. There were trolls back in biblical times, and nothings changed. lol. Long story short. You are right, and I suppose I should have considered that outlook. But then comes the merry go round. I criticized the people who are hating in the comment, but not saying to delete them or block them, just saying that people are rude sometimes. But there’s that freedom of speech thing again. I’m free to criticize or promote the same as you and everyone else. I think we all just need to be more considerate of one another.
