It's actually quite simple the shadows make your eyes think that it's a staircase beacuse there's only 3 similar colors that all blend easy in fact you don't even need to blink just concentrate.

"After you Blink" WARNING: Once done you wouldn't be able to "examine" the upside down stairs ,your brain will flip the image as soon as you look at the actual steps. I have a better alternative, Understand the shape ,then stare at the bottom right corner then slowly move your eyes to top left corner while "thinking" to flip the image upside down and vioala , It can be whatever you want. Once you've done it enough times and your brain starts to map the colors and shapes with the final image,it would happens instantly.

It's cuz the middle part of the stairs works with both sides, so you brain can't decide witch side is up or down, so it just makes you see it again.
