The best onboards ever? | 2023 Tony Gaze Trophy full race | 80MM
Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары
Goodwood's 80th Members' Meeting presented by Audrain Motorsport celebrated Goodwood 75 with a cracking race for the kinds of cars that performed on the Goodwood Motor Circuit when the track first opened. Inside it was an awesome battle featuring Patrick Blakeney-Edwards in a stunning Frazer Nash, and his onboard was one of the best we've ever seen.

That onboard from PBE is classic.
Just Amazing!!!!!! Had me on the edge of my seat!!!!!!! Thanks so much Goodwood R&R for allowing me to enjoy all this brilliant racing from Michigan
What an eclectic collection of racing machines. I even see a Jowett Jupiter! I love the Frazen Nashes, it looks like they have the ability to be started with a hand crank. The on-car cameras give us a fantastic view of the racing. Shame the video ended before we knew the finishing places!
I remember watching this from the livestream, and this is a fantastic race! John Ure, Cliff Gray, and Patrick Blakeney-Edwards had a fantastic scrap for the last 2 podium places. And at the post-race interview, the three drivers were just talking about how nice the battle is. They care more about how they got their positions than the positions itself, which is nice.
Intense racing! Thank you Goodwood!
Great racing "Action"...much appreciated Goodwood!🏁🏁🏁
Those Fraser- Nash's were so evenly matched !!
I love these old racers, I wish the year and models were posted on the leaderboard. Cheers

Me too. The same goes for all the other races as well.
Wonderful racers! Thank you, old chaps!
Terrific camera angle on the FN and really enjoyable battler for 2/3/4...
Awesome 👍🏻
More onboards! From all the races!
Great race! I love it!
Awesome racing! Wish there were more cars with on board cameras these motors sound amazing!
Saved this on my HDD for the future. this is gold.
Brilliant racing.
I wouldn't call this the "The best onboard video feed ever" but the Goodwood TV teams seem to do everything with class and respect for that racing period, as compared to modern (commercial) F1 racing.
Amazing race and footage but why the hurry to let 2,3 and 4 almost not finish and end the video all of a sudden?
Wonderful to see these guys on the limit with cars that were just part and parcel of club racing life in my early days. I bought my first car (before having a driving licence.. Mk 1 Sprog eyed fright, salesman's name Piers Dunkley), from The Chequered Flag' in Chiswick, 1964, just about every car in this race could have been represented in their showroom or parked out on the pavement at that time. Where did it all go wrong? I'm still struggling to keep my licence due to multiple speeding tickets.
It was nice to have the in-car camera.
Can't believe they raced on these cars back in the days. They r so difficult to handle
What is the tower at St. Marys? An old air traffic control tower or spotter's tower? It could be a communication or video relay tower. It's the only thing not documented in any books, like the names of the corners, or the Trophy names (Tony Gaze was an Australian WW2 fighter pilot serving in the UK.

On the outside is an old commentary tower, inside a marshalling post.
Why cut it so short?

The race lasted 20 minutes, the video is going for the same length…
Could do with a list of car number against make and model, as the drivers aren't exactly household names. 🤔🤷🏼♂️
somewhat strange mix of types....BUT....entertaining racing anyway.....
Chopping off the end of the race hardly makes this a “great video. Please sort this out Goodwood
Clickbait. Not great at all....
This makes NASCAR look boring..............
