Hi there. Greetings from UK. Nice video - thanks. I am in similar situation. Looking for a monitor for my C70 (i own two). I had some atomos recorders in the past but I don't like the OS. Looking on this monitor and i like the fact that is one of the latest smallhd releases but some say 1000 nits is not enough for the daylight so i am thinking about 702 touch - slightly more expensive but 1500 nits. Have you considered it? What is your experience in filming outdoors with Indie7? I was also looking at sun hoods which are approx £150 so it makes it nearly the same price as 702 touch.

Does it take f970 batteries? I can’t find the f774 batteries that SmallHD suggests anywhere in Aus.

what does it mean by supports up to 4k 30 if i'm shooting 4k 60?

The monitor supports 4k playback up to 30 fps. Anything above that will not be viewable. So you can view 4k 24 fps and 4k 30 fps video but not 4k 60 fps video
I’m gonna considerate but my decision will come down to warranty. Dealing with cheaper monitors is annoying but if they all have a year warranty why pay 1000.
