Hi Dustin...awesome and informative video! Thank you for making it. It is possible my daughter and son-in-law also consider a relocation to Tucson. In our area in Colorado, "affordable" housing is $400k (that is really high for teachers, first responders, etc as compared to their pay). So, this is an awesome video to display how much more they could get for their dollar.

@tucsonarizonaliving Hi there! Thank you for asking......we are having a great time!! So far, we looked at the greater Sabino Canyon area and Tanque Verde area. We had a fun sunset journey through the Agua Caliente Park. The next day was up thru the Dove Mountain, Casas Adobe's, and a smidgen of Oro Valley. Yesterday was a down day to relax at the campground. Today, we will head over to Picture Rocks.....and hopefully have time left to see the commerce areas of Marana. If not, we will explore Marana. We plan to go explore Saguaro National Park East....and use that proximity to explore down thru Rocking K Ranch and into Vail. If our days allow, we will do a day down by Sahuarita and Green Valley. I figure if we are considering Vail, then to be fair, down south is kind of the same distance away too.

@tucsonarizonaliving Hi there! Ughhhh....a very tough question! We really enjoyed the space and peacefulness of the greater Sabino Canyon neighborhoods, as well as the Tanque Verde area. The Forty Niner Golf area struck a chord as we felt like we were in a deserty Santa Barbara, CA. Casas Adobe's was a highlight too with its space and individuality....and proximity to services. I like the concept of Oro Valley as anything you want is 10 minutes away, and the views are incredible. But, I was challenged to find a driveway big enough for our tow vehicle, a full sized pickup truck. Heck, we even liked over by the Marana High School , out in the country a bit!

@@campingalan that's a good assessment of the different areas! They are each beautiful in their own way!

Loved marana I moved from there. The water is polluted from the base and the homes are sinking at saguaro bloom because they were built on expensive soil which is the worst in marana from the cotton fields that used to be there I sold in two years and went back to California.

There is some interesting information about the water there that is worth a read! Did you look into any other areas of Tucson before you went back to California? I can imagine there are some challenges in California as well.

@@tonyonofaro962 We cannot comment on it because we do not know for sure. There are articles about it online but nothing I could find specifically confirming homes are sinking. We know people that live in the area that do not have any issues but if you were thinking of buying there, we always recommend having a real estate agent on your side and getting licensed inspectors over to the property during the inspection period.

$300k? Wow that's expensive no thanks for that little boring area!!!!
