This series means so much to me. I discovered it while it was still running, binged it and watched the rest of the episodes as they came out. It was one of things that brought me the most joy in such an awkward and formative time of my life. It’s cheesy, but true. I’ll always smile watching this and Grumps play any Zelda game

God I remember the animation Brandon Turner did of it and made it 10x more funny. It’s so good 😂😂

The series that brought me into the Grumps community. I still reference so many jokes made throughout this playthrough. I know Spantzzz is the main meme now (and it’s hilarious btw) but Buttlet will always be my favorite Grump Link

Me too! A friend of mine shared an imageset of the Ganondorf photo bit, and after inquiry I was led here and just binged the series.

The parts when Arin goes into selfie-mode and does his little voices. He’s strangely good at puppeteering.

This series was such a classic for me, I rewatch it all the time. So funny and wholesome throughout.

I've said it for many years, THIS is one of, if not THE, greatest playthrough the Game Grumps have ever done. The quotable jokes. The chemistry that was forming between the two at the time. It was all perfect.

This playthrough is my favorite y’all have ever done. There’s an exit off I-76 in Eastern Colorado for “Red Lion Road”, and for the past decade every time I drive by I’ll go “Hey, Boat Road” because of y’all 😅

This one of my favorite Game Grumps series. I was in a deep depression in 11th grade 2014 (which is also when I discovered I had depression) where I wasn't smiling, laughing, staying in bed all the time, etc. I was on KZread all day, mindlessly watching videos. Up until I came across the Zelda Squelitus video and I enjoyed it. At the end Arin mentioned the WW playthrough, and it peaked my interest then I got to watching. On the first episode I was letting out a small chuckle or so, then by the 3 episode I was full on laughing again. I will always be grateful to Danny and Arin...well Game Grumps in general for giving back my smile. ❤

This was my introduction to Game Grumps and holds a special place in my heart. Also, it is my favorite iteration of Link because he shows the most real personality.

Buttlet’s playthrough means a lot to me. I was struggling financially and working a crappy job, coming home and watching an episode always put a smile back on my face. 😊

in 2016, my wii u wasn't working for some reason and i couldn't finish this game, so i went to youtube to see if there was a playthrough, making me discover this channel. i've rewatched this series about 6 times as it's a comfort during hard times

BIG BROTHER!!! Might be my favorite part from this series. Thanks to Game Grumps I can't unhear Butcove when Micheal Caine says Batcave

There were so many amazing moments in this LP. It's probably my favorite game they did on the channel.

I remember seeing this series way back in 6th grade when it was first coming out. Guilt-tripping Grandma made me laugh so hard it gave me a headache. Now I'm 22 and while I don't binge too much KZread content anymore, I still have my old favorites, with Daniel and Arnold never ceasing to bring smiles to my face as I get through my day. Mad respect to the people who took it this far, it's incredible to see how 2 guys on a couch playing video games and chatting could become as influential as it has.

I’ve watched this play through over and over again And that photo with Link and Ganondorf will always be the best thing ever

To all the lovelies who are new to the channel and/or may have not seen some of the older series' on the channel, the biggest thing this compilation is missing is the rest of the entire playthrough! Wind Waker is my favorite playthrough the guys have finished on the channel; from episode 1 to the very end it was such a funny and great journey to watch. Buttlet's shenanigans, Dan's OCD story and experiences, Arin's sometimes good, most times bad gameplay, all the funny as hell jokes, and a wonderful gem of a Zelda game that everyone should give a shot at playing. I highly recommend anyone who watches this to go and watch the entire playthrough at some point if you haven't already! And if you have already seen it, then what are you waiting for?! Go watch it again!

I am so glad there is now a Wind Waker "Best Of" by the Grumps. Easily one of my favorite Zelda playthroughs with so many hilarious moments, from I'll-be-dead-soon Grandma to Yellvis to the Joy Pendant fiasco...capped off with the insanely stressful Ganondorf selfie. Edit: I COMPLETELY forgot about the Michael Cain narration 😂😂😂 that’s what got me, hook line and sinker

How THE HELL did you know I JUST finished rewatching the entirety of Wind Waker????? I didn’t even watch the directors cut or anything I watched the whole damn series??? This is like the second or third time this has happened too

For context, I just got BOTW for the switch (got it on Wii U at launch 🥲) and put GG BOTW on while I played, then finished GG BOTW, so have now also watched all of GG Wind Waker, and I have yet to even approach the castle 😩 doing hella side quests tho 😂

I wish it included the bit at the 42nd minute mark where Arin plays with the wind waker directions "You. Him. Grrrrrrlllll. You-don't-listen-to-him."

It's crazy how this was my first game grumps experience. I was a teenager who was struggling a lot with her mental health. And this was the first thing to make me laugh so hard in a long time. I'm a grown adult now and it still is able to make me feel better even after the roughest days. Appreciate you guys!

This is one of the series I always come back to and feel so comfortable watching. It's longer, goofy, the game is rad, it's just an all around silly goose time, homie. Classic forever

I'm actually glad the OCD story was only given a minute or so in the compilation. It's a good story, but I don't need to hear it in its entirety every time I think of the Wind Waker playthrough

This playthrough is everything to me. Fell in love with the grumps when this series was still ongoing and since then I've rewatched it countless times. It's helped me through so many hard times in my life and Dan's OCD story probably had the biggest impact. It eventually lead to me finding out that I also have very real OCD and I just never realized that what I've always experienced my whole life is exactly that. I definitely had misconceptions about what it was to the point where I didnt even consider it a possibility! This will always hold a special place in my heart and since that time to this day I watch grumps every day. You guys are my heroes through and through and everything you do is beyond epic. I will always be grateful for it! ❤

The amount of times I’ve watched this whole play through is unhealthy… I LOVE IT

It was this series that sold me on Game Grumps. I love it so much. This was the first game I ever completed back on Game cube. Their humor made me laugh and the episode where Danny shared his experience with Mental Illness always hits home for me.

I've watched that playthrough at least three times. It's in my top 5 of Game Grumps games.

Between that old man pushing that shark in his underwear and Buttlet pushing that pig that he recently threw into the water, this game sure pushed the envelope when it came to animal pushing.

I forgot that Arin was the one to think of *Buttlet* - it’s probably my favourite, and great for this Link.

Still my favorite series of theirs. This and Mario sunshine are my comfort playthroughs, and I've watched them over and over so many times I can almost recite every joke

This game is such a gem. I really hope it comes to switch. My wife only got into video games and LOZ in the last few years and we haven't had the right equipment to play this or Twilight Princess. This series will always have a special place in my heart. I watched it back in 2013 and 2014 and I loved every minute of it. I'd come home from school, get on my computer, and watch Game Grumps. It was a nice break from the horrible middle school life I dealt with and I will always cherish those moments.
