Surprised the elevator scene from "Chinatown" wasn't included. Immediately before getting on the elevator, he calls Mulvehill (sp?) an illiterate, hygienically deficient drunk just before the cherry on the sundae by mentioning to Yelburton that the rum runners (apparently during Prohibition) never lost a drop landing hundreds of tons of booze on the beach while Mulvehill was sheriff of Ventura County. "He oughta be able to hold on to your water for ya!"
Mmm, The Shining...
Strange choice at number 2 but generally a great overview of his ide array of roles and talents. He's too often regarded as an actor who "just played himself" and whom you "always knew exactly what to expact from" i.e. a one-trick pony. If he always played himself then he must be a very diverse, multi-faceted, complex person as opposed to the eye-brow twitching evil womanizer many associate him with. There is only one reason this guy has been nominated for Oscars in 5 (or is it 6?!) consecutive decades; he is Hollywood's best ever.

how is it a strange choice at number 2? he won an oscar as a supporting actor. that is a great accomplishment considering he wasn't the lead. That wasn't a great clip of his performance in that film, i would've used the bit where he is leaving aurora from the airport - "i don't know what else to say except my stock answer"
Funny, they didn't list Anger management.
Very strange that the joker is nr 16 should be nr 3.and the Shining should be nr 2.
Five Easy Pieces should be in top 5..
Rourke stole that scene
