Funny thing about Sora’s dash attack: In the tester build for 1.2, the dash attack was really bad, and one of the testers, Sherwood, really hated it. They actually confirmed that’s why it was changed on their twitter

Going into the video, I was expecting stuff like Zelda jab, Ichigo dash attack, and either Ichigo or Falcon forward air, but what you ended up selecting in those slots works even better lol. Didn't even know about the Krystal jab loops (memories of vanilla SSB4 Fox floods back).

Surprised Plum wasn't in consideration for down special, but I suppose it makes a lot more sense when you factor in that this is designed to be listed in a vacuum as you said, and Plum is designed with Ray's funny moves in mind so yeah Waft definitely is the most plausible pick.

Isaac mentioned 👀 I'd say that his hand is more broken, I'm not talking about the tech; He can do (almost) endless loops up close with hand back and it also leads into vine or a smash attack. It's easy to initiate with down air or vine itself, so you can pull this off like, whenever.

Do consider that this list looks at moves in a vacuum, Isaac Hand at least with how you describe its uses is shown strength with other moves Isaac has. In the context of his kit, Hand is great, but others might not take that over ZSS or Krystal.

I see what you mean, I'll correct myself here, I enjoy watching Krystal and ZSS on tournaments and didn't mean to pit Isaac's side b with theirs (meant it needs more attention than his dair), so it's good. I'm surprised my boi even made it in here :')

The last time I played this was when Luffy came out, and I remember Falcon being my favorite since I always thought he was the most broken one, being able to kill you with any setup, even if his B's/specials aren't that good. Nice video! I enjoyed it:)

The fact that sora F-tilt has his hurtbox extended before the hitbox comes out, results in some goofy ahh interactions (like if you grab him before appears) But is pretty useful against people who use autodash, so you can "read" them if the're running or shmoving to you.

@@Inari_YT Oh definitely. But he’s heavy and if he stays on stage/mid stage he can be a menace. Especially some of his movement tech is pretty tricky.

Good video! But How about best move for every characters?

I'd say Krystal has the best bair, I mean that thing is fast, combos, lingers, kills at high percents, is good in disadvantage, hits both sides, lingers, does your taxes, cleans your laundry. If you aren't off stage, pressing bair on Krystal is usually a good idea

this issue with this concept is this, every kit move works in sync and each other, mario with link fair would be busted , but falco with sheik fair maybe not busted but OP, whether the combo move or kill move is bair or fair is subjective, that's why this concept is difficult, falcon fair can be the best fair if this hypothetical best moves character has a combo aireal to set it up and or stun move , but a stun move benefits a character with kill moves more than a solo combo character , basically the only way for a list of best moves to he true is if u made different type letter combinations which would be infinite , idk why im ranting that was just my immediate thought when I saw this video title

Also, with Rayman's F-smash: It can combo and kill with side special as low as 30%-60%

Good thing you didn't include Kaioken Goku because the video would become a Kaioken rant with some Kaioken clips playing in the background.

I honestly would have gone with Simon N-air because... it's just so disjointed, combos into itself and all in all incredibly dumb LOL (this is coming from a casual). Anyways, great to see the SSF2 community is still alive and kicking. I enjoyed watching this video a lot, keep it up man

I feel like the best UP-B HAS to be pyka like you could definitely play an entire set just by stalling with it abd jump cancelling on platforms. It’s a combo toll and an incredibly versatile recovery move and you can pretty mych just click the button if you don’t know how to answer a situation

@@Inari_YTalso I think a really cool idea for a video would be going over the top 1 or 2 players for each character. It would give a lot of people trying to get into the game a good resource for who to watch when trying to learn a character.

off the top of head from memory of this game , Best Side b is naruto , Best Down b is goku, Best Neutral b is pacman or ichigo, best up b is again pacman if the kit is right or maybe sonic, I don't think an aggressive up b like falcon is the best in this game , the mario bros fire ball also solid and mk tarnado for neutral b, very interesting and good video concept, Now what would best grab be a tether or regular grab hmmm, Imo would be pacman typa grab or link or samus safer and if u got naruto side b or some typa hitbox it sets it up, but a falcon grab works too Ig, is tether recovery in this game ?

Imo zelda up smash not up where u put it, it's very slow, and I understand smash attacks shouldn't be spammed but its smash at the end of the day, the safer ones with good Killin like rayman fsmash better , i can't think of an up smash rn but I think Something classic like fox or mario can be considered best fsmash, or link but that's spicy Tho I understand your reasoning for why u think zelda is that spot fair enough

Also to clear up something that a lot of people get wrong, Zelda up smash actually is punishable by a lot of the cast, as it’s about -3 at best on shield, so it’s a free punish point blank. When spaced, it is harder to punish, especially for characters like Simon or chibi with bad oos, but if they ever let you get in that close that’s their own fault. Also it has a gap in between some of the hits that can let you hit her during it, but most people don’t do it cause they don’t know they can.

It probably is in a vacuum but wouldn’t be if u replaced some characters up bs with zss, as characters like bowser or bm get noticeably worse recoveries due to their air speeds. Though as a combo tool any character that doesn’t kill off the top early (and probably even some that do) would like zss up b better it also has a much bigger hitbox then gnw up b.
