I love the head chef. That bit at the end with the cheesecake killed me!

After watching many episodes it's clear Mark is a Jack of all Trades Master of None. Chef and kitchen staff are great.

The convo with Mark’s mum and her friend was hilarious. Dry British humour at its finest.

The scene between Mark and Alison choosing a ringtone is possibly my favourite bit of tv ever.

i would like to have at least 50% of the Mark's enthusiasm in my job

Exactly but 2016 Christian was Jailed for Freud. If there was no record of how many tickets have been printed then there is no record of how many have been sold and in the pocket it goes I expect. He wasn't jailed for anything he did at the Grosvenor though it was s holiday camp he went to afterward he left here

It didn't seem like he tried that hard. Your chef makes you money by cooking not ordering in cheesecake. £10 per head was ridiculous that cheesecake must've been £2.50 a slice. If he had passion he'd have made one for 40p a slice.

They call Mark 'Basil Faulty' but fact is most of the various guests really liked him and his staff. The hotel clearly needed major update it's stuck in the nineties.

Thought I had seen them all, delighted to find this one! Alison's Morticia Addams hair does her no favours lol

I always thought Christian was the most annoying and most unattractive person in this show, then the jet ski guy comes along!!! What an absolute Pratt.

"Christian" understood it perfectly... This is how he embezzled a hotel in Dorset... "He used his access to the tills to concoct an ingenious fiddle in which he entered enormous bogus refunds into the computerised till system. They showed he repaying hundreds of pounds to customers for massive rounds of cocktails but in fact he was pocketing the money himself."

I can tell you all, I would pay extra to stay at the Grosvenor. It was totally unique. I love it!

I am sorry, but my impression of Christian is: 1) he is either smoking 2) he is either complaining 3) but never working properly.

There are some strange people making up this World. "Gary is very confident of his body"..... say no more! Plus he bought a jetski and proud of that. It takes all walks but I for one say we don't need anymore people walking this planet like him :)

Actually, Mark seems to be trying, and he does seem to care about and like people. For some reason he makes me want to help him get where he is trying to go. He just needs a bit more organization, and to make more decisions and delegate things like a boss. Christian and also that large dark haired lady with glasses seems to not have a very supportive attitude at any point. She does not seem to be in the habit of saying anything positive or helpful. IMO.

Not surprising at all. An "Event Manager" don't even know about costing and have no idea of how many ticket sold.

Christian understands profits .......but not for the Grosvenor, only those dodgy printed tickets in his own back pocket. When employees swim against your tide, your going to sink .....such a shame for the owner trying to Micro manage everything makes you a busy fool. Right Hotel wrong team behind him or not so to speak.

So he does the costing the day after the event.

What can I say???? Its hilarious how these totally mismatched people manage to run a hotel. Mark - lovely guy but totally in above his head. Would have been great managing something 40 decades ago. Christian - drama queen and over the top. No communication between him and Mark. His motto is 'it will be fine' LOL. Alison - gosh love her sense of humour. Her one off comments sends me into hysterics 'beam me up Scotty'. Priceless!!
