I am very late to the party, but I love this. My favorite bad movie no one talks about is Perfect High, starring Bella Thorne. I found it on KZread years ago and I've been watching it occasionally ever since. It's so funny and bad that it's almost calming. I love it. You have Jenny Nicholson vibes and I'm excited to watch more of your stuff!

My all time favorite lesser known bad movie (and movie in general) is Getting That Girl. It's so bad it's accidentally iconic, and if you watch cast interviews, they all took it so seriously. The writer/director also cast himself in the movie.

Abduction has the same plot as an MTv original series (something you should cover cause those were bonkers) called Finding Carter. They went more teen melodrama with it but still ended up making it bad. My favorite thing about that show is that it stars one of the actresses from the later seasons of Skins who’s a twin, and both were on skins. But one continued acting and the other became a body builder

I discovered your channel today from the Degrassi video that came up on recommended. Not only did I sit and watched that whole video start to finish, but also started binging all of your other videos. I'm so glad the algorithm lead me to you because I'm obsessed. "Abduction" sounds like a Lifetime movie plot because it literally was one. "The Face on the Milk Carton" was one of Lifetime's most successful TV movies back in the '90s. It's based on a book series, and it's a pretty decent family drama movie.

My new burning question is-in what ways is Christmas Perfection bad tho? Because as you described it, the premise is kinda silly sure, especially with the fixation on Ireland in particular, but also am I just a weirdo who is a sucker for a timeloop to think that it also kinda owns? Is it the acting, or is it like weirdly self serious abt it’s premise, is the humor not good, or is it just the general silliness of the whole thing? I have such a morbid curiosity abt this movie now! Ps. Found this channel from your degressi video, and I just gotta say, you are super funny and your voice is strangely relaxing to listen to. In the same way you’ve seen the Jenny Nicholson vampire diaries video a bunch, for some reason I find your videos incredibly rewatchable

I'm feeling a burning desire to answer your burning question- but now that I think about it I'm kind of drawing a blank since I haven't seen the movie in a while 😭 I think it was mainly just the overall execution? I agree that it sounds like a fun concept, and I have seen the occasional Lifetime movie that isn't THAT bad, but the technical stuff like cinematography, lighting, editing, are pretty not great, which gives the whole thing this kind of depressing, almost creepy quality. but ultimately you might as well watch it to make your mind up for yourself! (and thank you, I appreciate it!!!)

Have you ever watched Ice Crawlers (aka Deep Freeze)? It's a 2001 monster movie where the plot genuinely centers around trilobites as the monsters, and it has some of the most egregiously terrible movie science I've ever seen (as well as, if I recall correctly, very stiff acting). I'm an invertebrate paleontologist studying trilobites, and it's genuinely one of my favorite bad movies of all time because of how conspicuously it does not give a shit about what it's talking about. The whole thing is free on KZread and it's such an experience, I really recommend it if you'd like to see what Jurassic Park would be like if it was set on an Antarctic base and starred marine arthropods that were on average a few centimeters long instead of dinosaurs

Good to see Tiger Shroff on this list. Him and Vidyut Jamwal have these really frustrating careers where they're fantastic martial artists but the Indian film industry isn't built to make good straightforward martial arts movies, so the whole industry has no idea what to do with them. Also, obligatory bad movie recommendation: Rooftops (1989) is a romantic drama about homeless teenagers, centered around an imaginary dance-fight sport, and made by the director of West Side Story (and Star Trek: The Motion Picture). It is an absolute delight from start to finish.

😂 don't give me the credit, I realized after the video that A Holly Dolly Christmas is the title of her latest Christmas album. I must've had it in my subconscious somewhere!

"I ate some bad curry and now I'm in your Christmas village..?!" -- WOW! I feel like you might already know this one, but you didn't mention it so have you seen the film "Tiptoes" with Gary Oldman playing a little person by standing on his knees, with the bottom of his legs strategically cropped out of frame? This is played seriously, not as a joke. His brother is played by Matthew McConaughey, who is a ball of anxious rage because his girlfriend Kate Beckinsale has gotten pregnant and he's sure the baby is going to be a little person like everyone else in his family and he can't tolerate this happening. Peter Dinklage is in the movie as a horribly accented French revolutionary for little people rights who travels the country on a Harley with Patricia Arquette who plays his prostitute love interest. You have got to see this movie if you haven't.

I haven't seen it, but I've definitely watched a youtube review or two about it 😭 I feel like we as a society don't clown Gary Oldman nearly enough for being a part of that movie

Okay but hear me out about The VelociPastor 👀It's not so bad it's good, it's sincerely good for the budget they had. The characters are well written and developed and the actors really sell it. You end up rooting for them. It's more like it's a low budget project that leans into being low budget for comedy but a lot of heart went into creating it. It does not belong on the same level of trash that Sharknado is on. It's still trash but it's better trash.

my ultimate favourite obscure bad movie is called Rolling to You (Tutti in piedi), about a man who pretends to be in a wheelchair to be with a woman who is actually in a wheelchair. it's absolutely delightful, 10/10.

😂 looks like it's a French movie, I feel like a lot of people think of France as the height of cinema, but don't realize how many French films are just offensive low budget comedies

@@jane-mulcahy i love it so much. because it's so offensive, it kind of becomes wholesome. and it's so absurd. like, there's this scene where the two are having a dinner date outside, and then the floor parts to the pool underneath, and they start floating in the water, table and all.

i've finally thought of a western film series that takes the same actors + a similar premise, but completely separate characters and universe for each movie: the cornetto trilogy! the films title's don't refer to each other though, so i think they're acknowledging the looser connection between films by not giving them titles like Cornetto 2: Hot Fuzz.
