I was a medium swing speed, low spin driver player since SLDR. Always been pretty accurate. Ping 10K has increased my accuracy and consistency but I'm teeing up much higher and the loft is at 7.5 with a Ventus TR Black.

I bought my Wilson Staff putter a couple years ago largely bc of your testing and I still love it. ❤

I’m not sure you guys are thinking about this majors , with PGA and LIV on a global scale… Norman was friends with Packer who started a different cricket game , which at the start everyone threw rocks at… one day cricket is now huge - it has a World Cup and is apart of the sport and birthed 20/20 cricket… Norman isn’t thinking small he’s thinking create a new set of world majors (is my guess) not the 3 US majors and The Open

I think Scottie is amazing and absolutely on fire right now, but if you had another 15 of the top 50 golfers in the world playing against him(LIV), I have to believe those guys might take a win or two away from him.

Tony's and Chris' comments about LIV fading away into nothing in the future (due to talent pool going dry) is definitely a possibility. But i think their disdain of LIV and love of the "old standard" of the PGAT is closing his mind off from the other possibility - that the LIV purses get so large, that golfers start gravitating towards their brand and away from the PGA tour. It's happened before, it can happen again (remember, once upon a time the British Amateur and the US Amateur were once considered "majors"). Things change, and whoever has the most money is going to attract the best talent. Throw in the fact that it's a limited schedule and guaranteed money because there's no cut, if LIV survives a few more years, it could dominate. The true death knell of the PGAT monopoly is going to be when LIV gets a major broadcaster on board. Not saying it'll happen, but not including any "what ifs" that are pro-LIV just reveals the discussion bias.

Call it "bias" or having an opinion...but yes, I'm firmly in the anti-LIV camp for a number of reasons....I'm open to the idea that LIV can buy golfers away from the PGA Tour, but that's been the approach thus far and they've managed to get quite a few important players to switch....now, the issue is whether up and coming players decide to go that route...if we think of it something like the NFL draft, how many 1st rounders will choose LIV over the PGA Tour next year? Right now, I don't see it - Unless LIV can get the best players of the next/future generation, then what's the point?

Matt Fitzpatrick's putter was a Yes putter for YEARS. If Bettinardi converted him then thats how they did it.

Been listening to Tony talk shit about LIV for a couple of years now....LIV has got stronger PGA weaker.....wake up man LIV isn't going away.....what do you think these exemptions are about I'm not for one or the other... you've just got to get used to the new look of golf

I think L.A.B. is great. But it took some getting used to. There is an adjustment period. So it definitely isn't helped by being tested for one day by someone who has never used it.

There’s a whole lotta marketing going on imho. I’m curious what the deal really is for all the influencers on the L.A.B. train. I tried one finally. One thing that people skip past is that toe down clubs are much easier to sense where the face position is. Perfectly balanced clubs just kinda float in space.

@@-Thunder I bought a lab, definitely not an influencer, more of a wannabe. With that being said, it’s helped me a not. Took my putting from 2.25 per round to 1.83. For me it allows me less to think about, just speed and break

​@@GolfSpyC I like it because I can sit down for 5 hours and can watch everyone go around. There's always shots to watch at all times, there is no down time. Imagine if baseball was 21 innings instead of 9. Watching PGA to LIV feels like that. (I'd use a cricket analogy comparing one dayers to 2020 but I assume everyone can relate to baseball a bit better haha)

I think Tony is absolutely correct when he said that LIV will only stay relevant if they can continue to poach good players from the PGA. When it comes to the Majors, we, humans, will easily forget yesterday’s stars if they are not playing or not relevant in the tournament. The exception is Tiger, because he was such a dominant player and won so many times that when he plays, we still want to see him. Cheers.

Almost impossible to replicate now. scotty cant even come close, you aren't going to find a kind holding a golf club on national tv when they are 5 and develop into the best player in the world with a psychotic father. golf peaked, cheers.

The future of golf are the next generations. Not your generation. PGA viewership is dying. As viewership decreases, so does sponsorship. Two huge sponsors are not renewing. "LS" drivers always show up on these lists year after year. Amateurs tend hit down with their drivers which imparts a ton of spin so a lower spin driver will counteract the excess spin. Frankly it's a bit of a bandaid to mask poor swing technique, but a solution to someone not willing to work on their swing mechanics.
