  • @MindoftheNorthStar

    @MindoftheNorthStar

    2 ай бұрын

    @@emilfrederiksen.1622 I'll admit that's a good example. However, there is some context I'd like to add. Klay is not being the defender he was is crucial. People are in awe of he crazy point totals but his defensive made him an elite player too. That not being there makes him far less impactful. The same would happen with Lonzo. I believe Klay's coming off the bench now these days too. Klay's days of making all-star teams and defensive team selections are _most likely_ done. I really don't want to be negative, I promise. I just think we need to drive head first into the "rebuild around Coby" sooner than later.

    @@craigkdillon Yes he will. It's also happens because we're always negative as crap about anything related to the Bulls. Blaming Krause, blaming Reinsdorf etc. Of course it's a Franchise of just Money Milking, but Fans from the U.S. seem not to have any patience when it comes building up a YOUNG Team. Zach, Vuč, Demar etc. really there to keep it competitive & the seats filled etc. Billy is know to be way better with the youngins then veterans & is still good to develop the Coach. Over here in Europe also "hate" the process because it just sucks as Fan. But from the smallest league to the Euroleague, we know it takes up 4 years easily, more so often nearly 7 till a Team dominates. Also today competition is crazy. When it comes to the NBA, when players invest in themselves the development is crazy as heck. Whole League is crop of the cream & way harder to build a Team that will dominate more then just one Championship run.

    Agreed, except we should trade lavine. The team chemistry on the floor is way better without him. He would be a great asset if he’d be willing to step back and do whatever the team needs, even if it means coming off the bench. However, his ego is too big. Perfectly exemplified by the one time he was benched in the 4th quarter by Donovan, and never forgave him. He’s not a max contract player and clearing up his salary would allow the team to bring other players and pay the breakout players such as coby and Ayo.

This would keep them in 4-7, but trading Zach & Vuc, and letting Demar walk is great way to sign on a superstar like Giannis in 2026-2027

    I hope this kid gets healthy and has a career. But can we just not pretend anymore that it's that likely? The guy is 26 and he played 2/3 of all possible games BEFORE he missed two years due to injury. IF he comes back for the start of the 2024-2025 season, that will mean he's missed over half of all possible games. Furthermore, he's NEVER played a single playoff game. So he's a veteran with all the injuries and none of the experience. I never understood the anticipation some people have for certain players every year. It's the Ben Simmons phenomenon. "This year he'll return to form even though he might have been overrated even at his best." Even if Lonzo returns, can we stop pretending that he wasn't incredibly overrated and overhyped by his carnival barker of a dad, Lavar Ball? When Derrick Rose injured his knee, he was 23 and never returned to form. What's even worse is that Lonzo Ball was NOWHERE near the player Derrick Rose was before getting injured. The guy is an assist heavy point guard that didn't even break 15 ppg in his best season. The league has evolved and ball dominant passing point guards are basically obsolete. Best case scenario is Lonzo gets healthy and becomes a role player off the bench.

    I’m sorry but at this point Lonzo is basically the Ben Simmons of the league and he’ll be too unreliable to make any significant impact on the Bulls

    'Zo is barely a Bull. 34 games played of 246. 63m dollars paid so far...84m dollars if he finishes with us next season. 'Zo? Get another job.

    I honestly believe they would have won the conference finals that season he got injured!! They were the best team to watch they had the best chemistry on the East. The bulls missing piece is lonzo ball . Hopefully he comes back in time that team was magical ✨

    They had chemistry for a few weeks... And for sure Lonzo getting injured is not what derailed them
