I’m curious to see how they come out for the heat but fantastic game from Coby. Kinda felt like he dug as far into his bag as the bottom allowed and it was a joy to watch

I was at work watching this game with my 2 kids and we had a blast !! Watching a play in game like it’s the finals lol

Colby was fucking cookin to the basket last night had a couple of nasty ankle breakers. .

Such a fun game to go, it actually felt like a playoff game and when Coby got a career high people were chanting great atmosphere.

I'm so glad I bought a ticket to this game. It was so hype watching it live. Man, this team finds a way to draw you back in after you get down on them.

the way Coby played, especially his handles, it reminded me of the drose era times. especially on drives where he snaked his way in, went up and under and hit the shot. Great game for Coby and the team. Hopefully another competitive game and win vs the heat. lets go bulls!

To me it would be awesome if they got the 8th seed because it gives them a chance to play and to develop some type of winning mindset. That to me is what the season is about to me. I genuinely think that the bad parts of the chain are Vuc and Lavine. Not bad players, just don't fit. I'd prefer a 5 in the starting line up more like Drummond, just an inside beast, rim protector, etc. And honestly, with Coby White breaking out this year, I'd say you don't NEED a big on ball 2/3. Derozan I think is settling into the veteran, pass more often, role. Great to keep him for that presence. A really really good 3 and D type 2 (or, hilariously, Lauri Markkanen at the 3 with Derozan at the 2, would be pretty fire. lmao. Too bad we traded him), with a rim protecting big, would be my look in the offseason.

I don't think that was due to talent but more to do with him not being able to showcase his talents with all the hero ball demar and lavine were playing. And it did take lavine going down to get that. Either way, we are losing coby after 2 more seasons likely.

@martezhodges3016 There is a rule that I am sure you aren't aware of. After a player signs a second contract, the team that employs him when contract ends can only pay 140% of what the last one was. His 3 year/ 36 million bargain deal we signed him to this offseason is ultimately gonna bite us in the ass. Most we can offer him yearly with be in the 17-18 mil range. Unless this was a fluke year, he will command around the 30 mil or more from outside teams. He won't be a RFA, so we can't match an offer either. Only way to offer him more money is to trade him before his contract runs out. The Knicks are in the same position with OG (they gave up a lot to get him too), memphis with JJJ. Since coby hasn't gotten the bag yet, I doubt he gives us the hometown discount and I can't blame him. I'm not pulling this out of my ass, look it up. We can blame former bull Joe Smith and the twolves for this rule.

I think Bulls dominance at this game is samewhat misleading, because Hawks was a mess. Drummond, what a hell. I think against Heat, biggest question mark is Donovan! Spoelstra may easily wipe a floor with Donovan If he lose his focus. Like he did last year's play-in game.

I was low on coby early this season. ngl I wanted him traded.

Zack did similar last season, only to disappear in the second game.

Bulls are bad at playing D against 3s. So they played good against it, and against the lobs. Its all good. Rather allow a few lobs then to get beat by 3s. My opinion

Most of this was due to fit with lavine and derozan, at least that was the reasoning for BC. Coby was never gonna be given the chance to grow with both on the floor. Since they weren't gonna break down this team, it made sense to get someone else who fit those 2 better. This is moot anyways. We are most likely losing coby after 2 more years.
