Overall review of the Webasto: We are INCREDIBLY grateful to have the heater in our build. It's been amazing for us so far.

Thank you for video, it helped a lot on first installation at mountain house. I have one problem with Evo55. Fan is working, all connected. No green light on round remote? Digital remote is working but when i choose Heating, fan starts 3 seconds and digital remote resets, and unit stops without pumping any fuel. What do you think it could be?

At 23:13 into the vid you show the pins being pushed into the plastic connector housing. Do you know how to get those pins back out? I need to use that housing on my replacement Wabasto. Looks to me like a one time use connector which would stink! Thanks

Great video guys! Did you cut the inline fuse block off and used the vans fuse block and what are the size of the fuses in the inline fuse block I know one is 15amp for the heater. What is the size for the controller?

If I may, I think that the thermostat is too close over the heat output of the heater and it will shut the heating before heat reaches the back of the van: the thermostat should be at the back of the van if this is where you gonna sleep.

Thank you, we appreciate the kind words! The VMACs kit was very convenient to have. The multi-controller acts as a timer and scheduler. It’s not quite the same as a control panel that you’d have in a household setup. It runs for the duration that you set it for and won’t shut off prematurely. We have a separate “thermostat” (unrelated to the Webasto) and that’s placed in the middle of the van between our heater and AC unit to just give us an idea of our van temps.

@@charlevoix418 We didn’t link the mounting bracket because the Webasto kit in the description comes with it! It can be confusing because there are so many variations of the Webasto kits. They all come with different items and exclude different items. I’m happy to grab the link to just the bracket if you need! Let me know. I believe the 5 inch hole saw is linked in the description. Should be an Amazon link, it’s the 5th item down on the list of supplies.

Thanks for the video. Any updates, regrets for under-seat install? By the way, I am using a bunch of your Amazon links today. This video tutorial is great.

Thanks so much! No regrets with the under seat install! The heater works incredibly well, too. Good luck on your install! As long as you understand what each piece is, the actual install isn’t too bad. 🫶🏼

Personally I'm going to have a fuel tank for the heater. More fuel is better than less. Running out sucks especially with a diesel.

Nice video! Thanks for the shout out on our fuel tank tap kit! Couple of minor errors in some of the specifications you mention, but overall a great resource for a European heater install!

Great video ,would you be able to tell me what a wbuss failure is ?I installed a new unit today , the installation went very easily as I Google how to do it and watched your video .

Not a great how to video when the audio cuts out.
