How did you know that? Did you hear that on the DVD commentary? That’s how I found that out… the TV commentary on the Simpsons is actually really fascinating. I had seasons one through nine.

I had that same idea to share my fond memories of laughing hysterically at this show with my son, like how I used to with my dad. Unfortunately, now that my son is old enough, he has absolutely no interest in watching the show with me, because, and I'm quoting him here, "the animation is so old and strange looking!" Freaking kid doesn't want to watch or do anything except if it's on his iPad and made after the year 2015! Anything before that, and he's not interested at all! I swear, trying to get him to watch a movie with me goes over about as well as when I tried to get him to play a board game with me and his mom the day we lost power and his tablet was dead. I think he quit before my wife even got a chance to roll the dice!

@@jamesteegardner2273 Damn I'm sorry to hear it! Realistically this will probably happen to me too but one can dream? Just out of curiosity, how old is he? When I started watching the Simpsons at the age of about 13, I also preferred the newer seasons because it looked cleaner. Needless to say I don't hold that position anymore. All I can recommend is to still try to find some interest in whatever dumb stuff he's watching and/or limit his ipad time. Best of luck!
