Carving a mini pig is fun. The sounds of woodworking, a smooth whittling relaxing me. You will need a little more than forty large and small cuts to carve a wooden pig. I singled out 19 that form the shape of the sculpture. Simple and short. It can be shorter. But my wood carving sometimes does not go according to plan. When you carve the small wooden sculptures, a safety is important. Especially when the stick is the size of a finger.

About my knife:
For wood carving, I used my regular whittling knife which I made myself; the blade length is 40 mm, and the overall length of the knife is 130 mm.
For beginners:
Using a short piece of branch can be dangerous for beginners. So, I recommend trying to use a long and comfortable piece, and trim it at the end.
