Wow that's different and looks really moisturizing too! I'm not super crazy about purchasing another product in the US again to make something, the cost just doesn't make sense for me but I'll keep it in mind. Sooner or later I'll be able to order it from one of my suppliers. I will check it out. Thank you!

Search for sucragel, it may be local to you and it is a very similar product

I'd love to make this product but here in the UK I don't think we have sucraclear, I love how it all stayed together when mixing

If I put sucraclear in a body oil product would it make it thicker? Also if I rub that body oil on with the sucraclear on wet skin, how will it feel?

I wonder about this too, because I've tried another oil gellant and it makes the oil feel very chalky

You could combine a body oil with sucraclear to make it thicker. If you rub this formula onto wet skin, it would react with the water on the skin and emulsify feeling very lotion like.

Hi. Kojic acid powder needs to be dissolved in water 1st. Could I dissolve it in the water then add it to the base without breaking the emulsion? Thanks!

Hi, sucraclear is a gelling agent as well as an emulsifier. So, when water is added it turns lotion like. If you add water to this it will turn white and lotion like. Then consistency will also change depending on how much water you add, it will loosen up with water.

This looks so great but the mixing not so much! Lol It seems like the sucraclear takes forever to mix stuff into - if you made large amounts would that be really a pain after awhile?

Thank you! Yes the mixing is a pain and if not done correctly the gel falls apart. If I were to continue making large amounts of this, I think I would use an electric mixer like a kitchen aid.

Hi, you mentioned the jars are 8oz but holds 10oz of product. How many oz would you put on your labels? 8oz or 10z? Thank you.

Regarding the sugar, do you use regular table sugar or ultra fine table sugar? I have had this question for several weeks. I would guess, it does not matter. Please answer. Thanks

I use regular white granulated sugar. The only time I have used ultra fine baking sugar is in a lip scrub. It does make a big difference in the final texture of the product.

No, it’s $5 to access everything except bonus recipes. I publish one bonus recipe a month and the rest are available at the $5 level. The $7 level gets you the vault of formulas there are hundreds as I post weekly formulas
