@@a_single_white_female it's true but i'd take a $10 fluorine strap from China every time which also high quality and better than silicone that Seiko used.
Marc you are a hell of a salesman and businessman. In this time of the Virus and my own business being forcibly shut down I admire and envy you greatly that you have an online structure. Sadly a $130 rubber strap is not something I can afford right now but found myself contemplating it and then laughed myself back to reality. Keep up the good work and get the Islander #ISL-04 back in stock this summer when hopefully I'll be back in business.
My uncle told me buy quality products the first time and you won't be disappointed. So very true. I ordered the orange strap with the rs dlc buckle! Can't wait. It's going on a GPW German titanium automatic dive watch. Both are on their way. Can't wait. Peace

I have one of these and I think they are totally worth the price. Beautiful stuff, can't find a more comfortable quality strap. This elevated my Baby Tuna up to heaven haha (cannot stand the diver's extension in Seiko bracelets).
If they made a shorter, thinner version it may be worth considering.

I highly recommend Long Island Watch. They are a pleasure to deal with. They have a wonderful selection of watches.
I put my Sinn U50S on the black version. I had to buy from Isofrane because I wanted the black DLC clasp. I paid around $150 or so and have zero regrets. My Sinn has not seen the OEM strap since the day I bought the Isofrane and I am normally a guy that wears one strap for days or weeks and then changes back and forth. I have actually forgotten that it has an OEM strap. My first Isofrane and I love it. There is something nice about these. You pay for it, but I can’t argue it. If they made red, I would probably buy another one.
Great review. Good content.
Now that watch definitely compliments the strap.
That Sinn U1 is so awesome! I would love the black se version 😍

Haha smells good Marc, they look like great straps 👍
Glad they fixed the lint problem. I hate it when I dive and come back with a ton of lint on the strap.
Better ventilation than my Crafter Blue which can get a bit sweaty, but I do love the integrated lugs and solid metal minder of the Crafter, which more than makes up for it for my money.
The keeper has another function: the angled tang helps catch the rubber holes if the watch slips and is about to fall. I have a Helm clone of this and its saved me a couple times
Ironically I just ordered mine on your website. I'll see how my marathon tsar likes it next week
Nice ISOfrane rubber strap but Borealis makes a comparable rubber strap for $30.

I am still loving my orange Isofrane strap. Not that there is anything wrong with their buckle… But, is there a high wuality deployant that will work on an Isofrane Strap? I am worried the strap, will be too thick for most deployant buckles.

My family of 4 can easily spend $129 going out to eat, then it turns to poop the next day. An Isofrane straps lasts years and years (my oldest ones are more than 10 years old). Your wrist is worth treating to a bit of luxury and comfort. That said, I also like some of the $38 Bonetto Cinturini straps just as much.

I have an Aquadive Bathtscaphe 100. It came on one of these in black. It’s a really nice strap. I would say they are expensive and there are several homages of this strap for much less. I would say if you have a higher end dive watch, having this makes sense. If you have a $1,500 up watch, $130 for a strap is not bad. I think Its so long possibly to wear over a wetsuit, as it was originally designed for dive watches when most dive watches were actually used for diving.

Watch & Unwind Correct. It would not make sense to put this on A low priced watch. However, If you are going to spend a lot in a watch and want a rubber strap, I don’t think it’s that far out. There are high End NATOs and leather straps that cost as much and more. There are some excellent Isofrane-style straps for reasonable prices, for those who want the style but can’t justify the price.
@WatchUnwind
4 жыл бұрын
@@surfitli Well put, Breitling Rubber straps are right around the same price so if somone bought a Breitling on a bracelet but wanted a strap they could go with Isofrane because they are paying the same price and that way they could have something unique, they probably wont run into anyone else with the same bracelet + watch combo. Breitling also charges 150 for a nato so even more than the rubber from both brands and I know Omega Rubber and Natos are also pretty expensive.
I own two Isofrane Straps: Anthracite for my OVM and Green for my GSAR.

The vanilla smell is residue from the spray that is used to separate the straps from the moulds during the production. The smell vanishes over time, so it might be that the black ones are simply older.

Yeah...I owned one and sold it. Very soft and comfortable, but just too chunky for me. It also doesn't help that there are knock-offs available for a fraction of the price that are nearly as good. But it's still a very chunky strap. If I was a professional diver, I'd own one. As a desk diver, it's a bit much.
