Takeaway: Make flashcards on PILLAR INFORMATION and during re-review sessions ONLY. I recently committed a lot of my BEC study time to making way too many flashcards and sincerely believe that is a BIG reason I did not pass. Lesson learned!

I like to take notes/make flashcards on topics that I miss (while doing MCQs) and this video enforces this strategy, thank you!

This video came into my feed at the fight time. I've been struggling on bond payable problems and this is such an obvious strategy over just banging my head against the text and mcqs until it clicks

I like the bucket analogy. I haven't been using flashcards much and am re-motivated to making another attempt at using them. Was using Quizlet, but trying out Anki. Re-watched the Pro video on planting the seeds again and picked a couple things up that might help. Thanks for the videos and podcast!

Thanks for the tips. My takeaway from this is the flashcards can assist better than just reading over your notes. Actively learning seems like the way to go for sure.

Never thought Flashcards would make such difference, I am convinced now after your video I must give it a try. Thank you for explaining it so basic and easy for me vs. high level "do this and go". I know a lot of CPA candidates do appreciate it.

Lots of great takeaways, but the big one for me is how flash cards are forced recon. This hit home, as I am a traditional note taker. Time to break the habit and make better use of my study time!
