I visited London during Christmas time and I totally fell in love 😍😍 I was expecting Londoners to be "cold" or snobbish... (due to stereotypes). I got a great surprise!! People were quite friendly, welcoming. I am from Brazil and I had a great time in London!!

"Bathers" 😂 that lady really did her best promoting Bath though lol. my favourite city must be London though. I feel like most people either love it or hate it, and I can kinda see both sides, but I've already visited it three times and never wanted to leave. there's just so much to do. I can't wait to visit again.

I have a friend living there in Brighton, I should come to visit here😍😍😍

Hyia! In 2002 I lived and studied English in Brighton for seven months after that I moved to Manchester and stayed for more three years. I have strong feelings for both cities: Brighton means to me entertainment (I used to go to a really nice pub called Walkabout) but the cost of living in there was too high. My memories from Manchester are relate to work ( I was a glass colector at 5th Avenue which the wage was very bad, but the vibe very excite). Good memories...

Ah, my favorite English city - surely London 💎 Kensington Market, where some bohemian oddballs used to hang out, Freddie Mercury for example 💘💘💘

I'm English and my favourite city is Manchester! Nice accent, architecture, inclusive in terms of religion, ethnicity, LGBTQ... So historical, sporty, entertainment based and very modern with amazing skyscrapers!

I love Manchester, I used to work there! I also have a bottle of Winchester Gin ,that we were bought as a gift 🎁 😋

I like Chester and Shrewsbury and Snowdon.....West England,Wales

I'd like to know London! And Brighton. Thanks for this great episode

I know very few English cities to properly have a favourite one, but for the moment, I'd say Cambridge 👍. My favourite cities here in Spain are Córdoba and Granada, I can't choose just one.

Thank you for the video! Is the woman in 1:17 saying "UP there" talking about London, because London is situated in the northern direction from Brighton (upward on a map)? And... Does the lady's phrase "... a bit of history" in 3:39 mean " ... a part of history" in that context? ❤️

That's correct, we'd say we're going up north or down south. So, these places are seen as up and down

My favourite city in England (so far) is Bristol 😃

I wish to visit all cities of the UK, mostly Cambridge and Oxford because of their great universities 😎😎😎. A question: in the final scene you said it is so difficult to say "English city" pronouncing "s" after "sh", do people in Brighton have a special pronunciation in such case, like pronouncing it all as "s" or "sh"?

In spoken English it can be difficult to have a sound like “-sh” followed immediately by “s-” if you are someone whose voice is projected more from the front of the mouth (i.e. teeth and lips area). By contrast, in a typical Irish accent for example the voice comes more from the roof of the mouth than from the front. You mention Cambridge: lovely civilised intelligent environment, and so peaceful. That’s how I found it anyway.

@@stateofflux7453 I'm Egyptian ☺ The Easy Language project is one of the best on KZread, I follow Easy English, Spanish and Russian, and although I have no knowledge of German I watch Easy German from time to time because they are really nice people and their episodes are fun to watch. Meanwhile since you praised Cambridge: I've recently started improving my English using its "English in Use" books and they are FANTASTIC 👌😎

As a Turkish girl, I love British German French men very much. They are handsome even at 60 years old. The men of these countries are very handsome, I really like you very much😂❤️🇨🇵🇩🇪🇬🇧

I only know few British cities (shitties, haha) so I can't give an estimation. I loved London of course, but I'd also like to visit Edinburgh and Bath. I like towns with a historical background, that have a story to tell ...

I'd love to know Manchester because of the music history they have there ( The Smiths, Joy Division, The Stone Roses)

Interesting video, but (and I'm sorry to criticize) could you change the name of the video to 'The Best City in England'? Mitch introduces the video as being about England, so having 'UK' in the title is misleading. :-)
