The Best Chicken Wings I've Ever Made

#chicken #chickenwings #bbq #grilled
I really love chicken wings, I love making them and I love eating them in a very messy and ritualistic manner. Give these grilled chicken wings a try and you won't go back to the messy deep-fried chicken wing method.

My guy!!! Love this recipe, especially the unintentional 3 day marination. I love it. A small addition I did is after the marinade, I pat the wings dry and lay them out on a wire rack or paper towel lined sheet tray, uncovered in the fridge for a day. Dries out the skin some and gets it nice and sticky to accept the dry rub. They crisp up super nice in the over and bring it to the next level😍

I've been telling my brother that we need to do some wings for over a year now, but we didn't want to use oil. Thank you for showing us method to cook them on the grill, and the sauce looks awesome, too! We're definitely going to try this very soon.

I have to disagree. Fried wings grow soggy much faster. And grilling (or even oven roasting) the sauce into the meat has always added more depth of flavor, even when just using Frank’s Red Hot. Try making teriyaki wings on the grill, it’ll change your life lol

I just found your content about a week ago and I have been binge watching it. Really good straightforward stuff. I was happy to see you adding butter to the Frank's Red Hot because that is definitely the original buffalo wing recipe more or less. In the early 1980s in New Jersey there was a wing place that was absolutely unbelievable, and their recipe was the same, except with the addition of a small amount of white vinegar. For some reason I prefer that above all. Give it a try.

I use a weber smokey joe with the smallest Vortex. Wings come out perfect every time. Trick is to buy the grill grate for the smokey joe then the small vortex fits without wobble.

I just tried this awesome recipe on my weber smoker keeping it at 225 along with my pork butt. Because i cannot wait for the dang shoulder to finish😁👍 I like using my own version of mayo when I make a ranch dip for my family. Store bought mayo or ranch is no comparison to homemade. Ive tried your version it very good😁👍👍

@@amp776 I will clarify, you diss people using a bottled ranch (which hidden valley also sell) but almost everything you make uses commercial premixed spice blends. This is not even real cooking and what is the name of the channel again? You know what the easiest thing to make is? Cajun seasoning. Buy the Paul Prudholm stuff and you get a salty, stale mixture. Make your own? Hand pick the herbs and spices to make YOUR OWN. Make your own hot sauce! Not that bottle of vinegar you used. OR.....don't diss someone because they use someone else ranch from a bottle instead of someone else ranch from an envelope. COOK!

I have to be honest; I’m not impressed, overall, with a trager. I’m impressed with the technology, but it takes the art out of it. I’m not impressed with the overall flavor from using the wood pellets. I prefer a traditional coal and wood smoking.
