If you’re someone that is always skeptical of “crispy chicken wings” recipes online, because they ALWAYS let you down, look no further. This is THE BEST fried chicken wing recipe I’ve ever had. No reason to make them any other way. I can’t eat a wing unless it’s super crispy, and these delivered. Don’t know if I can spend the $20 on avocado oil every time, (or every 5th time) but dang. Best wings I’ve ever had.

Loved this vid! Your logo is FIRE too!! Perfectly captures all that is "That Dude Can Cook". I'd love to see one that has you drop kicking a fridge. That would be epic.
I have to try this recipe, looks delicious. Tony Chachara’s seasoning are great, especially on wings, and burgers. I also add extra garlic and onion powders. I bake my wings in my toaster oven for 50 minutes skin side down then turn and broil skin side up for 15 to 20 minutes. Make a sauce with your favorite hot sauce mixed with melted butter. Enjoy!

Have never gone wrong with one of Sonny’s recipes. My favorite is the Chicken Schnitzel and all I can say is WOW! Add the best crispy potatoes and a salad and I’m in heaven, unless Sonny would do the cooking! I’d be more then happy to do the clean up.
Love your long form videos too. Thanks for making stuff.

Great job Dude. This actually made my stomach growl. I've been making Korean wings for about 3 years now using gochujang in the sauce. Better than buffalo wings, even though I still make them. The Korean ones are still crispy the next day cold. If there's any leftovers. Can't wait to try your recipe. Thanks.

I love the awareness you preach about the shitty “vegetable”/seed oils, everyone should realize how awful they are for you! Shame avocado oil is so expensive, but it’s definitely worth it.
@TheGoogilly
2 жыл бұрын
Agreed, they are awful, and they also have low flash points making them bad for frying anyway. I do love avocado oil, but usually opt for grape seed which is also expensive but not quite like avocado.
@davidwaring3533

Except that what he said about vegetable oil is complete BS. Canola oil is is fine. It is not partially hydrogenated as he says. This guy know nothing about food or cooking.
@TheGoogilly
2 жыл бұрын
@@davidwaring3533 "Most canola is chemically extracted using a solvent called hexane, and heat is often applied which can affect the stability of the oil's molecules, turn it rancid, destroy the omega-3s in it, and can even create trans fats. “Cold-pressed” canola oil exists but is very expensive and hard to find" He knows nothing about food bc he warns people off cheap crappy oils? Really?
I clicked like before a word came out of your mouth! One of my fav channels!
👍 I made some yesterday, Used half flour, Half original custard powder with some bicarbonate soda. Really good. Plenty of maple syrup in my gochujang sauce.
I make this chicken all the time! I use all ingredients for the sauce except I used ketchup as the base. I do like the change here though so I’ll try it 😊 and you are right if you eat it ones you’ll love it forever
I’m happy you’re talking about vegetable oils. Them and seed oils are no bueno. Very inflammatory.
Im your a big fan from korea Thanks for the awesome videos!
i actually wanna see him make a video on how he eats his flats
Making this tomorrow thanks Sonny
0:23 - 0:35 I FELT THIS, right up to that Caffeine HIT🤣 Master Sergeant Gilbert lookin' too much like if Johnny Mo from Kill Bill and Col. Sanders Had a spice baby with that hairpiece🤣💀
I love it that your ingredients are so top drawer, down to the organic cane sugar. I just got turned on to that exact brand of fish sauce, and used it to marinate some chicken for a red Thai curry recipe. It came out awesome. Do you feel your Korean chicken wing recipe could also work for chicken tenders? (I'm also sure that your corn starch was non-GMO, and I say that because I also care about your health..!) Awesome recipe, I'm hoping to make this tonight!

You must be watching too much of Bobby on Flav City.
As a korean, I don't think this is "korean fried chicken". Korean fried chicken sauce is made with ketchup and gochujang(and sugar and stuff but those two are key ingredient). Also, a lot of fried chicken restaurants in korea do double batter on their fried chicken. Look for 양념 치킨 and 후라이드 치킨 on YT for authentic recipes. But this also looks delicious so i would try this someday. Thanks for the fantastic videos sonny!
@theasiantestkitchen

The process and batter are inspired by Korean Fried Chicken :) While the sauce was my own, I wanted to be sure to give the proper nod to the Korean cuisine 🥰
starving after this!!

instant respect the moment i saw the fish sauce. If a person knows how to hone the power of fish sauce, you know its good
