I’m in Cali and we use red coolaide pack mix with frosted mini wheats and bind with water Comes out red and sweet

Really nice update to the soybean meal / eggs video. I bet this really puts out a nice amino attraction from the eggs that we can't see in addition to the flavoring.

Which do you like better for a binder syrup or eggs? Which one do you think packs better? Love all the bait making videos.

You should try adding the crushed egg shells to the mix for that crunch factor. I know a lot of boilie makers put the egg shells in their baits.

I made a soy bean meal , mulberry mix one summer that absolutely out performed every other recipe I ever put together. But I could not get it to ball up well . In hindsight I should have simply dehydrated the mulberries .

All around I would say soy bean meal. Its one of the cheapest baits out there and it works. Caught a 31.15 mirror this year on it and my son caught a 43lb buffalo on it.

When you go to that link for the hooks the color says #2 the size says number 10 don't quite understand is the is the color the actual size of the hook, Probably a dumb question but that's the way it looks to me. Love all the video's. Thanks.

It appears color is the size. I use 2 4 and 6 depending on the baits and rigs I'm using

Here in Eastern EU these ingredients cost way more than ready to use ground baits

Strawberry and Corn... always use strawberry and corn, regardless of what you use.

How long will the egg bean last before it spoils? Seems like the eggs may get funky after a few hot days.

With corn added it sours in a few days if you don't add the corn it will last a bit. When it dries out add more egg and it keeps packing

You might want to just look at liquid eggs vs Egg Beaters. The Egg Beaters seem to have reduced calories and almost twice the cost of liquid eggs.

Where are you buying it. The cost fluctuates with the grain market I've never seen it that high from anyplace unless they are buying it from a co op and then upping the cost.
