Dan Hurley knew our guard defense was too good for Purdue guards to score so they had everyone switching except clingan. The concept was "let's see if edey can beat us by himself since they'll keep giving it to him if he's not doubled" and the answer is that he couldn't beat uconn by himself. That's why he scored so much and everyone else so little. Genius gameplan. W vid, how you're at less than 100 subscribers is beyond me

Brilliant strategy, great defense, and good team offense. Hurley sent all five players to the offensive and defensive boards. He's realized its more important to get the ball then stop the transition.

They beat the teams that won all those so-called "harder path" teams by double digits. Alabama was a one-seed last year. UConn beat them by double digits during the regular season. It wouldn't have mattered who they played this year or earlier.
