Sea lions are normally friendly although some are territorial especially dangerous if they have pups. I wouldn’t swim with them. If one decides to pull you under you might not get to play snap again

on that combo with widow, you culd also ad selene in that turn 4 and give them a -4 bite

20:30 you actually could use grandmaster with ghost spider, she would pull the card you played before grandmaster. Of course, that's likely to be ghost spider herself, but theoretically you could phoenix force into grandmaster on an earlier ghost spider or something like that.

I've had Ravonna pinned and keys saved in anticipation of GMs release. Looking forward to trying out some combos this week.

La Jolla Cove is a cool place to go snorkeling. Lots of sea lions, maybe a few seals. That foul odor is mostly from all the shore birds that nest there.

the storm combo can also fit quake to make it even spicier, i.e., t1 nebula right, t2 lizard, t3 storm left, t4 grandmaster left & 1 or 2 drop mid, t5 quake and juggernaut mid, t6 magneto or alioth

Nebula 1, GM 2, Storm on 3, Quake and Night Crawler on 4, then just play wide cards like Doom or movers like Jeff etc. The metas about to get a little nutty.

Grand master will be very fun. I have been playing a lot of move, gonna see if he can make it a bit better. Thanks as always Cozy and Alex for the great information.

I think Cozy is underestimating (1) The middle lane getting clogged and (2) Cosmo

@@gdmrhotshot3731 Knull on negative 6x2x2=24. Black panther 8x2x2=32. If in Wong turn 4 16x2x2=64. Without count if you Zola the Wong and if GM move Zola x2 on reveal. If GM+Knull+Zola in destroy deck is inviable. Enjoy your Knull xDD

There’s a possibility that one of your on reveals instead of arnim or panther gets pulled to the mid to activate

doubling up on valkryie just sounds STUPID powerful

Grand Master might have a spot in Surfer but tbh I'm not seeing it. Sera on T5 is gonna be what you want most of the time. If you're doubling up on Broods it basically means you're not playing anything else in 2 lanes all game, which isn't great. The deck runs pretty tight on space.

Depends on CL and the decks you like to play. If you are lower CL, High Evo is recommended because he unlocks a whole deck by himself with all the cards you already have without abilities. Nico is better suited with a large collection of cards because Nico can be fitted into a wide variety of decks.

Does phoenix force work with grandmaster? Like will she be a targeted card to move? Could be useful with torch etc but even nico? Like killing nico with her double self power bring her back with Phoenix and then grandmaster doubles her again???

I'm excited to bring back the classic Wong/White Tiger combo. Turn 2 Ravonna, turn 3 Patriot, turn 4 Wong in middle. Turn 5 White Tiger & Grandmaster, turn 6 Odin. Just flood the board with 10 power tigers

Was waiting for you guys to mention Wave into Doom or BP and Grandmaster that again then play Zola or Odin.

Movement needs to happen for Grandmaster to work so if mid is clogged he won't work. Also Cosmo is gonna be played mid a lot now so Echo is good to play alongside Grandmaster.

Miek and morbius on the board, swarm in your hand, then play modok T5 and grandmaster T6 Should be some decent power, plus it's not that expensive (especially since you probably already wanted to play miek and modok)

For a week bud, they aren’t gonna play Cosmo forever. I agree this card might have stars in everyone’s eyes. A lot of these combos seem impractical. Still, I’m not gonna be completely shocked if GM does play out like people think.

Grand Master is also On Reveal, so if you get two, he can work on himself, no? Same with Wong. So if you get 2 on-reveals on Wong, you can proc them again again again again. Combo with Moon Girl, could get even crazier

Don't think so because they said it needs to move. If the GM triggers another GM to move to the middle, the second card to be hit wouldn't move since it would already be in the middle and wouldn't go off

What is “proc” short for?

Would you not have to play GM on the middle location?

Can Grandmaster move cards that don’t have an “on reveal” effect? So, if you play onto a lane with a variety of cards, is there is a risk of no effect, if you move an ongoing card, as an example?

I am near the end of pool 3 and just got Beast, and yes I love the Thor bounce, I can not wait for Hit Monkey. I was a filthy Miracle Rouge in HS. 😂😂😂

Definitely going to be trying a C3 deck with this, but I would be careful GM-ing Valky in the same lane as Mystique. I wouldn't be surprised if GM procs Mystique's original On Reveal rather than treating her as Ongoing. Take it from the guy who's played Mystique on Cosmo more times than he cares to admit ;) In any event, it's going to be a fun week while we all try out these new combos. Thanks for all your hard work helping us get ready for a new card release.

Nah Mystique will lose her Onreveal once she copies a card. If you try to Absorbing Man after Mystique copies an ongoin, he'll say theres no target.

Not as far as I'm aware. GM was always location based. Play on left or right, then moves an On Reveal to mid. I recall this because it fits the theme. GM is the "host" of gladiator-style tournaments, so he kinda says "go out there and show them what you got" to the fighters, so they move front and center (i.e. mid) then showboats by doing their thing again.

Just as a move card grandmaster is really powerful. But into a black Knight discard would be incredible

I really like Hercules, but this clearly isn’t his last touch up. I definitely think it’s work running, several games I could not have one with out it. My thing with move is more draw and location disadvantage as a whole. It’s rare, but I can draw into just combo pieces or activators, which never feels good. Location variance hurts fairly often, but I suppose there are several advantageous ones as well.

Cozy looks like a kid on Christmas morning talking about GM Haha. Cozy, please, Alex, please, just ask Glenn to add "Assinate" to Electra, she's and ASSASIN, the Assinate destroy effect cannot be stopped. That's it. Ez buff. Ez fix. Card relevant. Same new experience. Cool new effect. Can do more with it in the future. GENIUS. MIND BLOWN. Perfect charicter synergy. Common guys we can do this.

If by kerplunk, you mean it moves the card mid, and then that card's On Reveal won't trigger, then yes.

So would this combo work? Grand Master on 5 then Odin on 6? I'm thinking a bounce Gambit combo if that works. My brain says Odin will trigger him again but the game brain doesn't always think like me.

Nah. Odin on GM would trigger GM to move your Odin (the card you just played) but as you're playing it on the GM lane, it's not moving, and as it needs to move to retrigger it's On-reveal, it won't do anything if in the same lane as GM. The best use case I see with Odin is if you you have on-reveal out before playing GM, play GM in another lane, play an on-reveal in a separate location to trigger GM, then play Odin on the NON-GM location to proc that lane again, and then to proc the GM lane again. So Odin could work with GM but youll have to do some theory crafting and testing to see what the best play is because simply playing Odin onto GM won't do much. Best bet might be to drop Wave on 5 to use GM and Odin in some way.

I thought GM was overhyped to be honest but you guys have convinced me. I’ll wait and see to open but he seems tons of fun. Plus I don’t own Loki

You already know the first week of Grandmaster will be full of Opp throwing Cosmo into the middle lane to thwart GMs shenanigans from happening. Even still, he will be at least a fun card. Definitely the card I've been most excited for.

That's going to happen eventually. If you own a ton of cards, spotlight weeks just won't have new ones for you. There's always tokens if you'd rather not risk spending your keys, but 6K is a steep ask for a card. If I had the tokens, I'd probably spend them on GM even though I have 7 keys stored up. Since I don't have the tokens and there's still some S4 cards I want, I am going to use my keys. I have Loki, but not Hit Monkey.

So I hadn’t planned on getting GM at all, but after hearing y’all’s crazy combos and the potential that GM has..I think I might just get him after all. Unfortunately, I do think he’ll be nerfed in one way or another very quickly

Haven't finished the video so I don't know if they say it but turn 1 ice man, turn 2 grandmaster, turn 3 beast, turn 4 iceman+grandmaster+ any 3 cost and as simple as it even though it requires 3 different cards, it's a frustrating combo to deal with or even turn 2 scorpion then turn 3 grandmaster is toxic af too, not to mention if Wong is already in that middle location it would hit twice

It means playing your 1 cost on turn 1, 2 cost on turn 2, 3 cost on turn 3 and so on.

I love the blob slowdown because it stops it being: A) an easy way to make Thanos extra cards not matter. B) stops it being a TOTAL counter to Darkhawk decks… Blob can be almost as good but you have to build around it more.
