Having a foreign transaction fee makes this card dumb - it would be a total must have without that
Brim is literally the worst to deal with. They take months to give you your bonus points. The deal is technically a good deal, but the hassle is not worth it.

The welcome offer with all those sweet extra miles ended March 10th, now you only get 60XP, first year free and 30XP on renewal which only help with your Flying Blue status so no longer a great incentive. I'm just about ready to buy two tickets from YVR to CDG, if the original bonus was still available I'd be applying right now. But as is, not sure it's worth it... Such a shame!
Please do your research before getting this card. It can take months for points earned on purchases to show up in your FB account.

I have done all of Amex and some others and was looking for something else as I have gone several months without a minimum spend requirement. That has been a waste of my time. With the family plan, a couple of people in our family will be travelling. Don't be so quick to criticise. Maybe it doesn't fit your current plan, but you are out of line to think what is good for you is good blanket advice for everyone.
