I don't see a lot of fictional books set in Palestine and so I put Mornings in Jenin on my TBR. I'm so glad you're back to making content.
Axioms End sounds so so interesting!
I loved mornings in jenin, read it years ago and it's one of the few stories that have stuck with me throughout the years.
I love hearing you talk about books. Your thoughts are always insightful
Thank you for the book recommendations. Definitely want to read Morning in Jenin it sounds so good!
Morning in Jenin sounds great! I also love multigenerational stories and I also love books that are sad, but with lighter moments. I'll definitely put this on my list to buy/borrow from the library 😊
You're back!! 💛

great video as always!!
i LOVE a multigenerational story so definitely checking out Mornings in Jenin
13:13 you getting confused at your own confusion is so on-brand 😂
Great video! Mornings in Jenin sounds really interesting. I definitely feel you on the "science is neat but I have no idea what's going on" front. I like space and I love dinosaurs, but bring math or how BIG time is into the equation and my brain stops working.
Some very interesting reads. I have We We’re Liars. Interesting about how it held up. I might have to add 1-2 more of these. … kidnapped by aliens. Dang! Hate when that happens. 😊💙

Unless it's a cool alien like Ampersand 😎👽
I have Mornings in Jenin, and it's calling my name even louder now :)

You've heard right!
Have you read The Order of Time by Carlo Rovelli? It might be a fun explainer for the whole space/time stuff, it's told more in poetic means than mathematical means too. The audiobook is narrated by Benedict Cumberbatch ;)

Oh that sounds awesome! I'll check it out, thanks!
Have you read Salt Houses by Hala Alyan. It is also multi-generational and a beautiful story.
