Hello can this skate last me until I get my waltz jump and one foot spin? And is there a link to purchase them? 😅

It should! You should try to get to a skate shop but if there aren't any around, a quick google search can help find a shop to order online. I don't have a specific place I prefer so I don't want to endorse anyone

This chart should help: skaterslanding.com/pages/risport-boot-size-chart I would recommend at least measuring your foot in centimeters and adding 1 centimeter to get your size (e.g. my foot is 26 cm/260mm long, so i would get 27 cm/270mm boots)

I am interested in information about Risport Electra Light's suitability for wide feet (I have not found Risport Scott Hamilton in Europe, and Jackson Artiste seemed too narrow for me) - Risport synthetic skates might look narrower than Risport leather skates in images. P.S. I wonder what the equivalent boot without the Scott Hamilton name is, and how the Electra Light compares to the Scott Hamilton.

Risports are generally narrower than Jackson boots, especially if you found the Artistes to be too narrow. You may just need a wider boot in Jacksons if you don't want to do custom yet

@@MindfulBanter Thank you for your reply! I found that a used Risport Excellence (I have not been able to acquire it) fit me - I wish I could acquire (beginner level) a Risport below RF3 Pro level - I am interested in trying wider Jackson skates. 🙏

Did you try on the Jackson Artiste in C width? If you did, then I don't think you're gonna fit the Electra, as Jackson is generally wider in the ball area than Risport (rounder toe box) and the Electra is only available in something called 'comfort wide' , which is something between B and C. I found the Electra to be quite smaller than my Jacksons in C when I tried them on in my pro shop. Also, Risport Scott Hamilton isn't a suitable boot for beginners, unless you are a 5 year old child. And Electra is more of a teen beginner boot and might be too small for you. If you are an adult, then I would suggest Risport RF3 Pro in C width. They are slightly wider than Jacksons in C width and suited my feet quite well after some punching out and heat molding. And don't be intimidated by the boot rating, I'm a petite adult and started serious skating as a beginner (with only very shaky forward crossovers) in the RF3 Pro and haven't regretted buying them since :)

@@kia9119 Thank you for your reply! I was not able to get my foot into Jackson Artiste - though I don't know its width. I found (at a fitter) that a Risport RF3 Pro in C width fit me. I have not tried Electra Light. I am an adult beginner. I wonder which Jackson boots you had. I wonder if a Jackson Freestyle Fusion in wide width would fit me. I am interested in information about blades (and blades size) for Risport RF3 Pro, as an adult beginner - John Wilson Coronation Ace vs MK Professional or Galaxy or Flight, in relation to spinning and foot shape.

Hi! That would depend on where you are in the world. I always suggest looking for a pro shop, usually inside of ice rinks, to meet with a fitter who can get you the appropriate size and brand. If that's not possible, there are many online figure skating websites that a quick web search can help you find. I don't want to promote any specific websites especially due to regional availability.
