It's a good idea right?! It lets him solidify his vocabulary and experience repeat successes, you can see he's blooming like a flower each time he succeeds and he tries a little more vocab and becomes more confident each time. 🥰

Ollie is such a ball of joy he makes everyone smile even if they don't understand him. Also a box of snickers is essential for bribes.

yeah i think its because josh has a tendency to giggle and focus on his mistakes that he makes, which is fine as theyre best friends, but if youre trying to focus on communication in a new language, then its a bit distracting i guess

Ollie's greatest strength for learning Korean is that he is so likeable and funny... not everyone can overcome the language barrier by sheer charisma!

I’m so impressed by Ollie’s Korean, as someone who is learning Korean, it’s hard to talk to people in the language you are learning but he have made me more confident to learn and talk to people in Korean

this series is literally just josh making ollie do everything while he sits back and eats food XD

This is THE best KE series we got on so many levels; first of all the production is INSANELY good (I mean all their productions are but this one obviously has a higher budget). It also has an actual plot and story-line which makes it SOOO interesting that it's almost like a TV reality show. and it's the main character is actually Ollie which makes it even better. I love how he's so smart and active in learning, it's so amusing and inspiring.

아마 올리 무의식 속에서 유민상 편 했을 때하고 유명한 하고 섞였나봄ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ

By far the most interesting part of this series (which I LOVE so far) is watching Josh struggle to step back and relinquish control, and at the same time watching Ollie completely rise to the challenge of fending for himself!

Ollie is getting so good at conversing with people. He feels so confident and each time he gets so much better. The words he's learned for 2 years all of a sudden come to him and its so great. I feel like although Josh loves him, obvi, its a bit hard to practice with someone so much better.

I love how off camera, Ollie is actually good at Korean and then he turns to the camera and loses those three braincells 🤦🏽‍♀️

All I know about Korean rest stops is from Running Man episodes, 266 for example. They are frequent and I assume they were designed into the highway system.

I went to one last year and it was this magical place with awsome food and even a convenience store.. best experience ever lol the only funny thing is that you have to take toilet paper at entrance of the toilets bc there's none inside lol

생각해보니 우린그동안 눈감고들으면 한국인이라생각될 조쉬한국어에 익숙해있어서 올리가 한국말을 정말못한다고 착각을 하고있었을뿐..오늘 토스트주문하고 직원분이 2분정도걸리세요 하자 2분정도걸린다고 바로 알아듣는 올리모습보고 진짜 소름돋았네요..올리는 이미 한국어를 이해하고 할줄아는 영국인이었어요. 우리가 학교다니고학원다니면서 책으로 백날공부해도 영어안느는데 이번 올리한국어 시리즈는 그 답답함을 어떻게 해결할수있는지를 가르쳐주는 시리즈같네요.

오늘껄로 올리 한국어 엄청 늘었다는걸 알 수 있어요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ 이렇게 영어 없이 한국어에 던져놓으니 엄청 발전한걸 알 수 있고 재미도 많습니다. 빨리 낙오 ㅎㅎ 기대 엄청되요 더욱 더 이런 상황에 던져주면 좋겠어요
