Mate I've been a musician my whole life. I've known musicians my whole life. The amount of amazing talent that is out there that goes unrecognized would blow your mind.

Caty with a C is one of my all time AI favorites, a breath of fresh air instead of the dribble of rap and screaming death rants coming out now.

If haven Madison was on agt or xfactor she not only would have won she would have been guided by Simon Crowell.the all around best judge ever!

Agreed that she was certainly the best singer and her song was whimsically adorable.

There really is no doubt that music is so influential. And how powerful is singing and how inspiring is singing? It allows people to stop, stunned and smile. Some people have to sing because the song comes on time when that person needs a lot of music.

How is Alejandro not in this video?

You can't call it the best American Idol original songs of all time and not have all of Alejandro Aranda's originals in it.

Ok - so was it necessary to play some of the songs twice?? With that being said - I really enjoyed "Something to Write About"!! The best original on here, next to the "What if I want it Now" tune. Maddie's "Don't let your children grow up" was good and the last girl is definitely unique.
