The Best All-Around Prime Lens on the Planet?

Ойын-сауық

Watch in 4K! "Born for this"! By William Morris
I have used many 35mm lenses in the past but when it comes to overall sharpness, bokeh rendering, quickness and reliability, the Sigma 35mm 1.2 has topped them all. It is by far the best 35mm on the planet. Link below to pick it up.. Watch how the Sigma 35mm performs in this epic photoshoot!. So many amazing shoots i had to include alot.

I watch a few photographers on KZread. Give a few honest opinions that may bite a tad but not disrespectful. Lots of rants on upcoming gear. Which is fine but your photo work can't less than average. Then I go on there Instagram accounts in look at the results from all the expert knowledge. I know it's all subjective but when a photographer says I'm using high speed sync or a modifier type lighting source. In nothing is even close to that style. It's frustrating as a photographer to continue to watch these KZreadrs channels. Bad posing , fingers, arms in feet cutoffs. Bad lighting. The last thing you need to do is give advice. 🤫... Brandon you get right to it.... Experience,Skills,Posing, Communication is impeccable You got your weapon of choice in gets work. Huge respect bro. Salute in thanks for your service too. 💪🏻📸✌🏻

Great job on the video. The model was fantastic. The lighting on the shots was so good. And the focus - every shot was perfect - skin texture, color, everything was so perfect. Great, great, great job. It takes more than equipment to get the best and you brought it. A big thumbs up. .... I don't normal shoot @ 35mm, but you have definitely proved the value of a 35mm.

Nice shots, with time I have concluded the 35mm is often too wide for my taste, and I need to get very very close the the subject not to get too many distractions, so I have gravitated toward the Sigma 85 f/1.4, 105 f/1.4 and 135 f/1.8... but as long as you use Sigma, take my like and subscribe.

  • @BrandonColePhotography

Yea those lenses are great but they don’t help you tell a story. When you shoot your image and overall composition needs to speak to your viewers. Those lenses only show a model they don’t show any ambient or background or help tell the story

OK it's a real mismatch, I'm a night street photographer and the Sigma 35mm 1.2 is a massive dissapointment, the AF is up the wazoo in low light, the Sigma 14-24mm F2.8 DG DN Art actually performs better than this 35mm, I only tried it because of the faster aperture for light, when it did nail focus it was gorgeous but Street requires massive consistency, 0.5 second hunt and my subject may be out of my composition zone. Best overall 35mm for the Sony ecosystem is the 35mm GM which is absolutely nailing focus in almost no light situations especially Backlight.
