New subscriber here! I started wearing perfume recently just to keep tabs on my sense of smell (you know, for…reasons) but now I’m into it. Sol de Janeiro’s Bum Bum Cream has given me so much joy because I love smelling like an ice cream cone…so I cannot wait to try the perfume!

My recommendation is “Oil Perfumery’s” Impressions of different fragrances. Lauren, have you tried them? It would make a great video with all of your knowledge letting us know if they are spot on dupes or clones or close to it. Personally I have tried 7 of them and most recently, they came out with one for my all time signature fragrance that has been discontinued “ Chloe Narcisse” and it is in my opinion about 90% spot on to me missing a bit of the sharpness and scent cloud that I would get from using a spray. Anyway, I am loving your videos and feel like the Oil Perfumery allows me a little window into perfumes I would not be able to afford.

Mad at you for revealing the best keep secret Elie Saab Le Parfum...so I bought a backup! JHAG Mad Madame is also a gem. Appreciate your vids!

Hi Anne. Another great video. Still binging on your videos slowly. I have a question: between Maison Louis Marie No.4, Commodity Book and The 7 Virtues Santal Vanille which is closest to Santal 33 (more masculine) and which is more feminine ( it as sharp). Thanks in advance

You should definitely check out SJP Stash (totally smells niche) & Kate Walsh’s Boyfriend. My nose unfortunately doesn’t enjoy a lot of cheapies 😂 but those 2 are winners.

celeb perfume review please!🙏🏼 I would say my top perfumes are Narcisso Rodriguez (white short bottle)(work/professional), Miami glow by Jlo(summer), Still by Jlo (everyday), Ariana grande cloud(winter) , Givenchy irresistible (summer everyday), Jimmy Choo by Jimmy Choo (events perfume)

I’m currently on the hunt for a good affordable orange blossom perfume. I have le parfum but it’s not really doing it for me. I can’t decide between la vie est belle OG or E clat & bottega venetas knot. I’m also on the look out for le parfum intense to see if that one will work better for me! I know la vie is not over $100 well depending where you get if from but id like to find something in the 100ml range for no more than $70 if possible. I’m leaning towards a more sweeter dna such as la vie & love don’t be shy.

I buy 90% of my fragrances on Ebay. They are always quite a bit less expensive there even than at the discounters. Amethyst is older than Meliora if I’m not mistaken so M dupes A.. I didn’t love Meliora when I sampled it. The ones from pdm I have are Darcy, Athalia and Delina. Delina I still have trouble with and feel jarred by it when I smell it. But I have hope one day I may finally learn to appreciate it.. No one extolls Darcy though and it’s super nice. More for me!

sometimes, I find myself thinking that way about body mists, but then I swear some of my sol de janeiro mists last longer than my some of my "clean" perfumes lol

Definitely sweet but not too sweet with the patchouli. It is compared to Coco mademoiselle. I would love to hear you on Vilhelm Parfumerie in a next video 💙

Divine Vanille smells almost 90+% similar to me also. I’m actually very interested in smelling other scents in that house!

god blackberry lilly sounds like literally my dream perfume. Like it sounds like everything I want in a signature scent. I love meliora but wish it had a bit of sweetness. Santal vanille sounds divine too, But the 7 virtues isn't available in new zealand :((

Is it worth having both PDM Herod and Essential Parfums Divine Vanille? I have Divine Vanille and like it a lot but never smelled Herod... As far as I know they are even created by the same Parfumer 😁

How does Santal Vanille compare to kayali vanilla 28?

Kayali is more softer and sweeter - like a nice gentle sweet warm sugary vanilla but in a mature way .. Santal Vanille is spicy… it’s this pretty spicy, creamy sandalwood fragrance while vanilla hangs gently in the background and it’s not a sweet vanilla - it just rounds out the fragrance. Kayali is a lot more simple still nice. I keep it for layering . But Santal Vanille has a lot of depth and it’s changes beautifully on the skin as time passes - I love it.

Girl, you should try Les Senteurs Gourmandes!!! And also maybe dive in some middle eastern fragrances (afnan, armaf, Al haramain, Swiss Arabian, etc) :)

Oo I’ve never heard of them before but I just looked them up and their fragrances look incredible! Where do you buy them from? I see them on Amazon but I feel nervous buying from there in case I pick up a fake. I love middle eastern fragrances! I’ve tried some from Al Haramain and Swiss Arabian but haven’t quite found the perfume for me yet :)

@@AnneLauren unfortunately I can’t help with recommendation of where to buy them from, I’m from Eastern Europe, shopping from a local site here :( but since they are really inexpensive and not so well know as a brand, I would bet the Amazon options are not fakes :)
