This is so real 😭 I’ve decided to not buy more till I finish a few bottles but it’s so tough.

Le Labo, MFK, Vilhelm Parfumerie and Byredo are obscenely expensive in South Afrika ! It's crazy ! I am only willing to buy the discovery sets and use them sparingly. Thank you for this video, the dupes are definitely more accessible and more affordable.

Great Video. I’ve loved and tried many of these. I know not everyone is into dupes but if you are open to them, the Alt. Fragrance version of G. Water is amazing. They call it Bohemian Water. Commodity Gold is beautiful but there is something to special about G. Water. I was wearing Bohemian Water in the grocery store the other day, turned the corner of an aisle and two women were like.. “oh it’s you that smells so good! We smelled something amazing and just realized that’s it’s you” I also got comments that same day in the pet food store!! Anyhow it’s a great alternative for those who can’t afford the real deal. Very aromatic.. Thanks for the great video!!

My favorite fragrance from Juliette Has A Gun is Vanilla Vibes. In the heat of summer it smells like you just came off the beach and you've been sunbathing in the richest tanning lotion. Bronze Goddess vibes. Love it!

My favorite dupe for SDV is La Nuit Tresor A La Folie. They share so many of the same notes! Love layering them too.

I'm so glad you got a chance to sample Milky Musk and love it! I recommend it to everyone who appreciates minimalist, unisex scents and enjoys lactonic woodiness, because that one gets it so right. Also, I'm one of those weird fragrance lovers who can't always tolerate wearing something bold, and often gets headachey and annoyed by my own fragrance 😂 However, that one never bothers me, and is still really interesting and unique.

Completely agree with Gold being a comparable dupe for GWater! I personally own both for exactly the reasons you mentioned (gold is more “streamlined” sexy amber vanilla, GWater is complex and bright). I’m surprised you don’t like By The Fireside by Replica, such similar notes!

This video is everything!!!! Next could you do a video on Bedtime Fragrances? I like to shower at night and get into bed and don’t know what fragrance would be good. Love the woody scents like you!

I actually just blind bought Zara's dupe for Gypsy Water. Fingers crossed because as pretty as the smell is, i can barely smell it so I cannot justify paying for a bottle of the real deal. I also just ordered a sample of Another 13. 😅 I think Salt Air reminds me of a Calgon body spray from the 90's! I can't remember the name but it was blue. It also reminds me of Replica Bubble Bath.

Dark, bold, and sexy 🤔🤔 yes, that’s definitely my type of fragrance (adds to wishlist)

Have you tried Tocca Colette? To me it's a very good Gypsy Water dupe and a tremendous compliment-getter. The Gypsy Water is more complex and fresher up front, but I find the drydowns to be almost indistinguishable.

My husband smelled it on me and said nope...So true that people need to try everything on THEIR SKIN before making a decision. I’m as a little disappointed.

@@AnneLauren An update...after trying queens and monsters multiple times, I love it now and have a bottle on the way.😂 Something was weird that first time....now it’s a creamy sandalwood and so beautiful. I’m getting a travel size of dark is night so I can wear it for date nights this fall. Would love to hear your opinions on all the Henry Rose line...also the fresh ones.

I would say no - I have both. Vanilla Woods smell similar to Al Rehab Golden Sand, MK Midnight Shimmer, Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Iconique or Sol Cheirosa 40... if you are familiar with any of those - they’re all very pretty close!

I got a sample of Angelique Noir yesterday and I LOVE it even more than sdv. You might want to sample it. Really unique vanilla,musk,amber with Angelica seeds. One spray lash night and I could smell it this morning! Beautiful warm and Sexy. I'll definitely get a decant of this! Happy scent journey.

Not at all! But, they are in the same fragrance family and there is that memorable sandalwood that’s in both :) so you can pick up that DNA but I wouldn’t call it a dupe, Book is taken in a different direction

Have you gotten your nose on the Atelier Materi line? I saw Santal Blond, and I immediately thought “That’s gotta be an Anne scent.” I want to try their discovery set and add Santal Blond since it’s not in the set 🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️🤦🏼‍♀️. The description screams Anne in a bottle. I was just curious if you’ve managed to sniff yet. Id be disappointed if you said it really isn’t all that. Lol I think I’m going to try the samples. The Bois d’Ambrette seems like it might be something you’d enjoy, too. Sooooo… if you do get your nose on that line, I’m requesting your review. 😀 Sometimes listening to honest reviews helps me with scents that I’m not sure if I like or not. It gives me a chance to think about and appreciate the fragrances for what they are (whether or not I fall in love with them). You’re the reason I pulled the trigger on Poets of Berlin. It was definitely a like when I tried, but initially a “meh” kind of like. Your review helped me appreciate the notes and experience that fragrance in a much different way. It’s a LOVE now. 😁 Novel complete. 😂😂😂

Pleasures Delight by EL (I've been in beauty industry since mid 90's) and it's my favorite. Patchouli. Marshmallow. Strawberry, Vanilla. Please please check it out!!

Anneke, thank you for that description - latex/hospital smell. I get this from Clinique Happy when I have worn it! Sums it up so well. Kind of a rubber or tire scent comes out on me. I have no idea what note it is. And I love the perfume! 😫 will pass my bottle on unfortunately.

I have sampled Gyspy water a few times, but on my skin it smells like lemon and vanilla. Your discription is what I am looking for, to me that is Eau Duelle, have You tried EDP of Eau Duelle? You must!

How would you compare reminiscence dragee to whiff of a waffle cone? I really enjoy dragee and am interested in waffle cone but im worried it might be a tad too sweet for my liking

They’re very different scents! In terms of sweetness, I’d say the sweet notes in WOAW are sweeter, however, because of that woody smelling base, Dragee ends up smelling sweeter overall. Dragee also has more of a powdery, dainty, fluffy feel to it, where the sweet notes in WOAW are realistic, creamy, gourmand :)
